High above the plains of Lucca, in the tiny village of Gignano di Brancoli, you find this former part of a small monastery. Cozy small and very old house, renewed around year 2000. The house is serviced by English speaking neighbors. They help you with whatever you need. No wifi, free parking 200 m from house (often busy, so sometimes you must walk a bit more). No public transport except school bus. If you bring your own bedsheets & towels, we will refund you 15€ of the cleaning fee. The space Small and peaceful garden with pizza oven. Simple kitchen on ground level. One bedroom with double bed. One combined living room/bedroom with double sofa bed. Bathroom. Balcony with great view, entrance from bedroom. Guest access The whole house and garden. During periods of long term rentals and weather permitting, it may be necessary for the garden and plants to be attended. You may be contacted so a time can be agreed and the work can be carried out. Other things to note If you want to use firewood, it can be bought from neighbor for market price (at the moment approx 5 € per 10 kg. Electricity up to 25 kWh per day is included in rental (for weekly rentals up to 100 kWh per week, for monthly rentals, electricity is not included).
