The Floathouse - Floating tiny home on the Murray

The Floathouse is a luxury tiny home floating on the Murray River offering a unique and romantic experience an hour from Adelaide. Features include an outdoor bath, queen bed, sofa, WIFI, ensuite with toilet/shower, large deck with sun loungers, dining table, double swing, separate swimming platform and a BBQ for those wanting to make the most of the river views. Our kitchenette is equipped with everything you require to prepare meals. The Floathouse is moored permanently within a gated marina. The space The Floathouse was designed with your experience in mind and to use every available space. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you require to prepare gourmet meals and enjoy your stay including a nespresso coffee machine, electronic hotplates, mini fridge, pots and pans, convection microwave, kitchen utensils and pantry staples. Our "tiny" bathroom; small but designed to give you everything you need with a touch of luxury. The ensuite includes a toilet, sink and shower overlooking the Murray. Complimentary Ashley & Co toiletries are provided as well as towels by Sheridan. Please note that the shower features a privacy screen offering complete privacy from passers by, kayaks and other boats, however there is partial (blurry) visibility into the shower from the deck of The Floathouse at certain times of day (higher visibility during sunrise). If this bothers you, please use the outdoor blind for complete privacy. Our deck is the perfect mix of function and relaxation, allowing guests to make the most of the expansive river views. Our lounge area has been designed to give guests a small but functional place to relax and unwind indoors, including a sofa, dining table, smart TV and provided board games. WIFI is also available for use during your stay. Guest access The Floathouse is located within a gated marina. Free parking is available alongside the river adjacent to The Floathouse. A car is recommended given the location. Other things to note Please note that The Floathouse is not suitable for children due to being right on the river. The Floathouse is suitable for a maximum of two guests. There is a security camera located at the front of The Floathouse. Unfortunately, if any additional guests or children are present, the booking will be cancelled with no refund provided. WIFI is also available during your stay including a Smart TV where you may use your device to stream Netflix or other streaming platforms. We stock basic pantry items including teas, coffee, salt and pepper, olive oil and a small milk. There are additional supplies available within the marina kiosk. You will find it hard to leave once you arrive so we recommend stocking up on supplies in Murray Bridge (15 minutes away) before you arrive.
