A Frame Cottages and huts all self contained.

These accommodation is in Modern Cottages and also in Traditional Grass Thatched Kamba Huts. They are part of a wider project of the AKAMBA CULTURAL CENTER AND MUSEUM. Set up in a twelve acre piece of land there is free music from the Birds which have made the place their home. It is basically rudimentary stay. You can cook your food, wash your clothes, enjoy a bonfire and escape to a secluded area in the vicinity for private time or just plainly commune with Nature. The space There are Three Cottages and three grass thatched. All are self contained.The Cottages and huts have mosquito nets , Smoke detectors, Fire extinguishers and have electricity with phone charging sockets..The floors in the huts and Cottages are Tiled The huts have kingposts of live trees. The live trees are important in taking away negative energy as one sleeps. On the trees are attached hanging pins for clothes. We also have camping facilities and take up to 50 campers. Guest access The whole 12 acre place is avaible for use and safe for the Museum which is charged 20USD as entry fees. Other things to note The AKAMBA CULTURAL CENTER and MUSEUM is accessible from Emali SGR Station. It is 7kms from Emali on Emali-Wote road. Customers can make arrangements to be picked from SGR station or bus station at an extra fee of Kshs 1500 per car load. We organize hikes to the surrounding hills and adjacent farms for a fee. We are also able to organize visits to Amboseli and Tsavo National parks at USD 350 per tour Van . We have a Gift Shop in the compound where one can purchase various gifts. We can organize Kamba traditional dance troupe for entertainment at a fee.
