Beautifully remodeled 3/2 Coastal style home with Private Elec. heated Pool. 1/2 mile to Stuart's quaint downtown shops, restaurants. 2 king beds and 2 XL twins. 4 couches 2 with pull out beds. 6 to 7 miles to popular spots like Stuart Beach, dog beaches, the House of Refuge turtle rescue, Rocks surfer beach, Bathtub Beach. Beach cart, chairs, cooler(fits wine upright), blanket, towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, skim board, masks provided. Week+ Month+ Discounts Late last minute booking Ok The space The House and Bedroom/Beds: 3 bedrooms: master King bedroom with attached romantic bathroom, 2nd charming King bedroom with antique mirrored desk and oriental rug, and a 3rd spacious, nautical bedroom with 2 XL Twin beds. A king inflatable mattress can be added for a big kids room to watch movies and hang out.. The listing specifies 8 guests, but that is up to you. I allow up to 12 to book. There are 4 couches, and 2 of them have pull out beds. Not the same as a normal bed, but fine for a vacation. I just want you to know of the options. You are also welcome to bring an inflatable mattress, and affordable ones are here at Walmart, and tents to for more kid adventure that is safely nearby. I even have a 38" diameter smokeless fire pit available on request. The living room is huge, 4 couches, and there is a Pet and Kid friendly big fenced in side lot. I live in the separate house next door, but the 3/2 house, side lot and fenced in completely private pool area is all yours. The Yard: The property has a full fenced in lot on the left side with a beautiful assortment of tropical and native Florida trees, plus 2 mango trees, bamboo, palm trees, a huge Sea Grape tree and Poinciana trees with their orange-red flowers. The Pool Patio area is surrounded by a fence and 7 ft back cement blue wall full of native metal fish art, which together provide safety for young ones. Safety for Children: The pool & patio area has 2 access points. If young children are visiting, the master bedroom back door which can be kept locked (including a latch up high in case they know how to open a dead bolt) Second access is outside on the left side the 6 ft wood fence gate latch is located up high out of reach of young children. This allows them the big side yard to play in, and it is also fully fenced in on the front, side and back. I did install a back door alarm to the back pool door and to the front door that can be turned on for those visiting with small children who might sneak out without permission while you are napping. By default it is off, but it can be set to a loud chime or loud alarm by taking the battery cover off and setting the selection to the left or right. I think it's loud enough to wake you up from a nap! BEACH TIME: I provide a collapsible beach cart that fits the beach cooler across the back (which holds a bottle of wine up right). There are beach towels under the shark cabinet, beach chairs, umbrellas, a king sheet/blanket, and by the pool boogie boards (which are a blast at any age), a skim board, masks, 1 person kayak, and toys can all be taken to the beach. Bathtub Beach is great to avoid the undertow when waves are 3+ feet because it blocks it. The Rocks surfer beach is a short walk north of Bathtub if you want to check out the surfers. The also hang out at the northern end of Stuart public beach. Dogs at the beach Most public beaches allow dogs and have bathrooms. (I actually make the drive with my dogs north to Walton Beach just before the power plant because so many dogs go that you can sit back and relax while they entertain themselves with there favorite game "Chase the newest dog to arrive" until they tire themselves out. I've never seen any dog fights, just an occasional snip if a dog gets too frisky. A note about a Bad Review last November She last minute booked one night just before showing up and in the review said I lived next door and their wasn't privacy. That is not true at all!!! When you are out on the town, like to eat, or at the beach I stop into the back yard only 2 or 3 times per week for about 10 minutes to net up the floating leaves, empty the solar floating pool skimmer and drop in or remove the robotic pool vacuum, but I take your privacy very, very seriously. In fact, if you want to net the pool leaves yourself on certain days or the entire time, that would be more than fine with me. Just let me know. Its a great chore for kids and they can shake out the pool net on the other side of the fence. Meet your host On the other hand, If you'd like to chat about the area or share a drink sometime I'd be happy to, so just let me know. I've made some great friends the last 5 years and enjoy seeing them every year and give them my best price for their repeated business. Guest access The property sits on 4 lots. You are renting the left 2 lots, 3/2 house and pool & patio area. Your entrance is the red hurricane door and you will be given a simple code and clear instructions before arriving. Codes for past visitors will be deleted before you arrive. On the day you arrive if you need to store luggage or anything before the 3pm check in time just contact me. Once the residence has been cleaned early arrival is possible, or I can store the items for you next door. The right side is a separate residence that I stay in, and will only show up to clean the leaves from the pool and patio at about 10:30am, or another time if you prefer, just make sure to let me know. There is a 6 ft privacy fence between us in the back, and in the front we share a huge driveway with lots of parking. Other things to note I can recommend restaurants, things to do, the parks available, the types of beaches available: snorkel beaches, surfing beaches, body surfing beaches, sight seeing beaches, etc. 2 adult bikes, 1 teenager bike, 1 small children bike with training wheels (this one usually kept on pool patio for safe parent monitoring while they relax). Note: Adult bikes currently have some flat tires, so give me a heads up if you plan on riding. And, if you need something for the kitchen or have a problem with anything you will be able to text or call me and I will do my best to accommodate you. Don't be shy about contacting me. The handwritten guest book near the front door also has lots of recommendations from our previous guests and I have even learned of great places from that book. And we would all appreciate if you'd add any places you find too. For example, A recent guest suggested the Tiki taxi boats, which are located in Fort Pierce, Stuart and Jupiter. They have a full bar on board and you can enjoy a relaxing ride on the river and see all the great scenery as you go from waterfront restaurant to waterfront restaurant. They said Thursday women go free. They also noted that the one in Jupiter also stops at the lighthouse just inside the inlet which is a fun stop. You can stop at any location and then rejoin the taxi the next time it stops by. If everyone is going to be drinking you might want to consider taking Uber to get back.
