La Chandelle, a small three story house offers you calm and comfort. Aside from skiing, walks in the surrounding hills or cycling, the restaurants, local market, cinema and other cultural activities the town offers, will no doubt complete your vacation. The numerous historical sites within a short distance include the caves of Lombrives, Niaux and others. The Spar towns of Ax and Ussat are nearby also Foix with its castle and Andorra (only an hours drive) make Tarascon a strategic base. The space A charming house, well situated in a small quiet street in the heart of the village, has been carefully decorated with special practical attention. The entrance is a small hall with space to leave two bicycles (not more) and a reserve for boots and skis for 5 people. The first floor is the kitchen (fully equiped) and dining room with a table for 6 and a radio. The second floor is a bedroom with one double bed and one single. It has its own toilet and basin and includes a small desk. The third floor is a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with toilet, basin, shower and a dressing room. There is also a small balcony for two (sunrise and sunset when it’s fine) Guest access The entire house is free of acces to visiters. Unless otherwise stated, the ground floor salon is not available for use as a bedroom. Other things to note Bed sheets and towels can be supplied for 3€ per person. Please let us know if needed. Thanks.. Close and accessable parking is free. The rail station is a ten minute walk from the house and there are regular bus services (info Tarascon). Supermarkets, shops, chemiste, ski hire and a petrol station are within a few minutes walk.
