The Farm House at Hereford Grove Farm

Come enjoy a spectacular 128 acre farm setting with breathtaking views and guaranteed tranquility. The pastoral setting includes beautiful barns, a spring- fed pond and nearby grazing cattle. Watch the sunset from the front porch overlooking the beautiful Middletown Valley. The spacious farm house is welcoming, lending itself to memorable family time or a place to work with no distractions. Large kitchen includes a brand new stove/oven and sink - fully equipped for all your cooking needs. The space The Farm House includes three bedrooms - 2 queen rooms and 1 room with twin beds. Half bath downstairs and full bath with tub and shower upstairs. First floor includes an all season sunroom with TV, living room, a separate office space with desk, chair and printer, dining room, and eat in kitchen. The outdoor area includes a flag stone patio, fire pit, and BBQ space. There is a one room efficiency space we refer to as the “Milk House” located on the property and is also listed on Airbnb. The driveway and parking are separate from the Farm House such that both listings enjoy complete privacy, however guests of both properties are welcome to all 128 acres. Please note that use of the fire pit is limited to Farm House guests only. We love your pets and the farm is a great setting for them. In addition to the per stay pet fee, there is an additional $50 per pet if you bring more than one. We do not allow cats. Since the property is surrounded by natural areas, it's not uncommon to encounter insects, such as bees and wasps, especially during warmer months. While we make every effort to minimize their presence, guests with allergies should take their usual precautions. Guest access Large outdoor parking space. Other things to note Enjoy nearby historic Frederick, MD with many great restaurants and breweries. Civil War history buffs will want to explore Antietam National Battlefield only 25 minutes from the farm house. Visitors can experience the Catoctin Mountain Park and hike the Chimney Rock and Wolf Rock trails, as well as Cunningham Falls State Park in nearby Thurmont, MD.
