Ilves Cabin with Wood-Heated Sauna – Cozy Stay in Fish & Fun Holiday Village Renovated in May 2022, Ilves is a cozy cabin with a traditional wood-heated sauna, kitchenette, living room, bedroom, and bathroom with shower. Located in the old camping area, Ilves has easy access from the main road – ideal for guests arriving by car or bike. Its spot makes day trips, shopping, and exploring nearby attractions simple, while still offering the peaceful atmosphere of village life and nature. The space Fish & Fun holiday village stands on the northern shore of a stunningly beautiful lake Kuhajärvi. Our boutique holiday village has 200m of the shoreline and small sandy beach. We provide accommodation in our 9 cozy guest houses. Small Coffeehouse Muikku with open terraces, wood heated common sauna, playfield and common areas are at your service. Our cared with love village welcomes you to come and spend vacation with comfort and joy! Guest access ☕ Coffeehouse Muikku At our cozy Coffeehouse Muikku we serve breakfasts, drinks, and snacks. • Breakfast is served daily from 8:30 – 12:00 • Please pre-order meals in advance, as we work with local organic ingredients and on a small scale. • Breakfast options: • English style – fried or scrambled eggs with bacon or sausages. • Finnish style – oatmeal with berries, boiled egg, cheese, and fresh veggies • Price: 18 € / adult, 9 € / child (3–7 y.o.) • Vegetarian and vegan options always available 🌱 ⸻ 🔥 Big Sauna Our Big Sauna fits up to 8 people and offers a traditional Finnish sauna experience. • Each cottage has a private 1.5-hour reservation slot • Guests who choose to share sauna time with others can enjoy a 3-hour session ⸻ 🚣 Rowing Equipment Guests can rent boats, canoes, and kayaks to enjoy the lake. • Boat – 15 € / day • Boat with motor (Suzuki 2.5 hp) – 30 € / day • Canoe – 30 € / day, or 15 € / under 2 hours • Kayak – 15 € / day, or 10 € / under 2 hours Other things to note 🧹 Cleaning Please treat the house as your own – it will reward you with good vibes! ✨ We kindly ask all guests to: • Use the premises with care • Leave the house tidy and clean after your stay We always handle general cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing the house for the next guests. If you prefer to simply relax and not worry about cleaning, you can book a final cleaning service for 45 € in advance. ⚠️ Please note: If common areas are left messy or we unexpectedly find the house in poor condition, a double cleaning fee will apply.
