Our cozy Cottage is located just minutes from the C&O Canal Towpath, the Potomac River and Warrior Mountain, 11 miles from Cumberland, MD and 12 miles from the Pawpaw tunnel. Enjoy all the country has to offer nearby including kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, or stay on the farm and enjoy a fire in the yard with sunset views over the mountains. If you prefer to stay inside, the apartment has high speed Wi-Fi and TV with Amazon Video, Netflix, Hulu and more available. The space This home was newly renovated in 2022 with all new appliances and furniture is a perfect spot to come and take a relaxing vacation in the country or get a change of scenery while remote working. There is room for the whole family in this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home, with open concept, full eat-in kitchen, separate dining area and living area. Lots of space outdoors as well with a gas grill, outdoor dining table and fire pit. Bed linens, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash are provided for each guest so you can pack lighter. The kitchen is also stocked with basic staples like coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, flour, salt, pepper, and some spices, and basic condiments in the fridge. The guest house is a private-standalone home, with two units and a large driveway. There is plenty of privacy for each unit with newly installed privacy fencing. The house sits at the top of the hill by the entrance of the farmstead, with panoramic sunset views of the mountains and trees that are nearby. Guest access The entire Rear Unit. The back half of the yard with seating around the fire-pit, a gas BBQ grill with a table and a hammock all located in the back left corner of the yard. Please be respectful of the privacy of other guests that might be staying next door, and we ask that you do not enter the barn or go up the steps to it or the Guest House's attics.
