Territorial Farm Stay is great for a family or friends country get away in beautiful Oregon. Great opportunities for outdoor activities and many nearby wineries. Pet friendly for well behaved pets with a large securely fenced yard with room to roam. Connect with a horse through our Horsin' Around Experience or enjoy riding with a Riding Experience or take a private riding lesson. The space The Carriage House is a cozy, comfortable, and quaint little house on the farm. It is great for a country get away, but also a good option for traveling professionals and remote workers. And we’re pet friendly for well behaved pets. High speed Internet access with WiFi throughout the house and yard. While it is a private space with all the amenities, guests are still part of the farm community with animals and all the elements of rural living. The house is located near the family farm house, but plenty of privacy. Secure parking is available next to the Carriage House with a gated driveway and also available in the main property parking area. All driveways and parking areas are gravel that is solid and mud-free year round. On your arrival, host will explain parking and the driveway gate. Huge securely fenced back yard. Outdoor seating and fire pit area. Living room, breakfast bar, and full kitchen space is a great gathering place with a specialty wood stove that heats the house for 24 hours. There is back up electric heat that provides adequate warmth except for the coldest winter days. Kitchen has all the amenities for cooking a great meal. Comfortable couch (not a hide a bed) can expand sleeping areas. Generous sized bedroom with comfortable queen bed also has plenty of floor space for adding an airbed or cot. Twin size air bed available. Bathroom has antique clawfoot tub and shower, along with very modern full size washer and dryer. Guests need to be prepared for and comfortable with farm life. Sturdy footwear is always recommended for walking around the farm and is required for participating in horse activities. Rubber boots are recommended for fall/winter/spring rainy season, especially for children. Be sure to have adequate coats, raincoats, hats, gloves, depending on the season. Well behaved pets are welcome for an extra fee. Golden Retrievers stay for free!!! Guest access The Carriage House and it's fenced yard is a private space on the farm, located near the family farm house., but plenty of space for privacy. The Carriage House driveway is gated, and secure parking is available next to the Carriage House. Other things to note The Carriage House is a comfortable and welcoming space that is well maintained, but we are on a farm and rural living can have occasional challenges due to storms, equipment malfunctions, etc. Those are minimal, but different from urban life. Parking is available next to the Carriage House in a secure, gated driveway; host will explain driveway and gate system and safety for use of driveway to access the main road.
