Everything you need to make your stay easy and comfortable. Surrounded by the views makes staying in a great option, or you could get out and about to explore some local attractions. Southport Tavern, Rivers Run Tavern, Hasting Caves, Cockle Creek and many more within close distance. The space This is our personal shack that we share. You will find our personal belongings around the place, we hope you don’t mind. If you prefer a hotel like environment, this may not be for you. Our shack is meant to be enjoyed, it isn't precious and has some quirky features! Two large bedrooms - main has a king bed and guest room has 2 king single beds, bathroom with toilet as well as a separate dedicated toilet, laundry, large open plan living and dining area that extends into the kitchen space. Beautiful new large deck to take in the views. Guest access The entire home. Other things to note We do share this home as our shack so please respect our stuff, but don’t be scared of it! Our personal belongings are there but won’t impact your stay in any negative way. If you prefer a hotel like environment, this may not be for you. We are always just a phone call away for anything you need. Our lovely caretaker Jenny lives at number #26 and is available to help where she can. We have WIFI available for our guests. See the whiteboard on the fridge for log-in details. Travel time from Hobart is about 1.5 hours drive. A beautiful route through the Huon Valley with many attractions along the way! Your best stop for food and supplies is Huonville. Dover also has a small IGA and bottle shop. Southport is a tiny town with very few amenities! This is why we love it.
