Other things to note The location of CASA GIANNI is strategic for visiting ALBA but at the same time all the most prestigious destinations of Langa. ALBA, the center of the Langhe, the city of 100 towers, famous for the White Truffle Fair is 5 km away, BAROLO, home of the famous wine is a 10-minute drive, in a suggestive hilly path, surrounded by the most renowned vineyards. This is one of the smallest villages in Langa. The Wine Museum located inside the Falletti Castle is certainly worth a visit. Of course, you can't miss the stop at the Enoteca Regionale di Barolo, for a very special taste. Among the things to see in Barolo is also the Corkscrew Museum, entirely dedicated to this – only apparently – trivial object. Because if you're already thinking about what could possibly be so special about this tool that it deserves an entire museum, it means you absolutely must go and visit it. BARBARESCO is certainly one of the villages not to be missed during a tour of the Langhe. It is just 13 km from CASA GIANNI, about a 10-minute drive, on an extraordinary hilly route. Along the way, it is worth stopping at NEIVE and TREISO which together with BARBARESCO became UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2014. BARBARESCO is known all over the world for its famous wine and for its prestigious wineries, first of all Gaja, for its excellent restaurants and not least for the TOWER, symbol of the city. LA MORRA is just a 10-minute drive from CASA GIANNI, From the Belvedere, a range of hills and vines opens up: a breathtaking view. The town is also very characteristic and you can find excellent places to taste the wines and eat the typical dishes of the Langhe tradition. BRA is just a 15-minute drive from CASA GIANNI, It is a delightful town, which at the end of summer comes alive for Cheese, one of the most important gastronomic events in Piedmont and is also perfect for a stop on a Roero itinerary.
