This unique mountain property offers peace, privacy, and potential Bigfoot sightings—yes, really! Several guests have reported strange sounds and distant wood knocks. Bring your sense of wonder... and your camera. 🌲 What to Expect on Arrival After going though the first locked gate, you will travel up a 3-mile scenic gravel/dirt forest road, and arrive at our mountain retreat. While 4WD is not required, it’s helpful during winter months. A second gated driveway (steep but accessible) leads to parking for up to 3 vehicles at the top, with overflow parking below. 🛏️ Sleeping & Amenities 🏡 Main Cabin: Queen bed, comfy couch + chair, fireplace Small kitchenette (stove, cookware, utensils, spices, coffee & creamer) 🪵 Pole Barn: King-size bed in “The Tree View" room with large windows Dishwashing area & primary outdoor cooking space 🧸 Bunkhouse: Full bed + twin bunk, stocked with toys and books for kids 🔥 Firepit Areas: In-ground firepit with views of Mt. St. Helens & Hood Canal 2nd sitting area-Propane firepit (available year-round unless fire ban in effect) 🔥 Note: Sauna is unavailable during burn bans due to its non-regulated heat source. 💧 Off-Grid Living – Rustic Comforts with Modern Touches We are a dry cabin—no running water or electricity—but fully set up for a comfortable off-grid stay: Solar lights + battery-powered lights in all units 24 gallons of utility water + case of drinking water & ice Lanterns, headlamps, BBQ propane + firewood included Permitted outhouse & porta-bucket for bathroom needs 🧂 Starter supplies provided: toilet paper, paper towels, oil, spices, coffee & creamer, firewood 🍳 No microwave or toaster. Cook using the stove, BBQ grill, or firepit. 🐾 Wildlife, Safety & Bigfoot Lore Since 2019, we’ve spotted 4 bobcats, one bear, and endless birds—including daily visits from our local ravens. Cougars have been recorded on nearby trail cams, though rarely seen. Most importantly: this is prime Sasquatch territory. If you need a second car pas, the fee is $33 per day. 🗝️ Check-In & Access Due to our gated mountain community and limited keys, the owner will meet guests at the address given after rental approval between 4–7 PM to escort you in.
