Idyllic farmhouse by Sognefjorden

Idyllic farmhouse close to the fjord in the fruit village of Slinde. The house is originally from 1914 and refurbished in 2006. Beautiful views and access to private jetty. Fine possibilities for hiking, skiing, kayaking and cycling in the area. 15 minutes outside Sogndalsfjøra and 5 minutes from Leikanger. 30 minutes from the ski resort. 40 minutes to Sogndal Airport, Haukåsen. The house has 3 bedrooms, a single bed in the living room (open solution without door) and extra bed, fully equipped kitchen, private entrance and patio. The space The house is located in a small courtyard, and is the former main house on the farm that was here. The house consists of a fully equipped kitchen, 3 separate bedrooms, living room, bathroom, patio and a good Wi-Fi. There are 7 beds divided into 5 beds, plus an extra bed. A total of 8 beds. Ground floor: A room with a double bed and a single bed in the hallway/living room (NB! This bed is in the hallway between the living room, bedroom and kitchen and bathroom!) without a door. Second floor: a room with a double bed, and a room with two separate beds. We also have an extra bed that can be placed wherever you like. There is a large hallway with space for clothes and shoes. The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic stove, oven, sink, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee maker. You will also find pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery, salt, pepper, dishwashing liquid. In the living room there is a dining table with space for six people. We also have a sofa group consisting of a sofa and two armchairs. Here we have TV with Apple TV. In the bathroom you will find shower, toilet, sink with mirror, hooks for towels and clothes, washing machine, detergent, hand soap, towel, toilet paper. The view from the house is towards the peninsula Fimreite and the village Fresvik on the other side of the Sognefjord. If you are lucky you can see sperm whales and porpoises in the fjord. During the spring and summer we place garden furniture outside the house so you can enjoy the view from the patio. See pictures. If the weather is warm, you are welcome to stroll down to our jetty and take a refreshing swim in the fjord. You are welcome to try your luck with fishing here too if you bring a fishing rod. Guest access Access to the whole house, adjacent garden and area by the fjord. We share the jetty with the neighbor. Other things to note We are mindful of the environment. We limit energy consumption in our own home. This means keeping an indoor temperature of about 20 degrees and being mindful of the use of hot water. We hope our guests will follow these principles.
