Elysian Bridgetown offers a serene rural escape surrounded by panoramic valley and river views, birdsong, and big open skies, perfect for those seeking quiet, space, and relaxation. This self-contained open plan studio features a comfortable king-size bed (convertible to twin singles with advance notice on booking) with an extra single bed that is also convertible if known in advance, reverse-cycle air-conditioning/heating, and ceiling fan for year-round comfort. Relax in cozy seating, or enjoy a movie night with the LED TV and DVD player (DVDs supplied, no Wi-Fi but line of sight to tower). The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for easy meal preparation except and oven, including a 4-burner gas cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster, toasted-sandwich maker, full-size fridge/freezer, pots, pans, utensils, and crockery. no oven. Enjoy preparing meals while taking in the ever-changing country light through large windows overlooking the rolling hills. We provide quality linen and towels (darker towels available on request), along with basic toiletries, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The modern bathroom include generous disability access shower, disability access toilet, and disability access vanity,  guests staying longer are welcome to use the shared washing machine located beneath Studio 4 during daylight hours not on sunset or after dark though this is not disability access and has stairs to the machine though staff could assist Step/roll outside to take in the sunrise from the wonderful deck, wander the front paddock or garden terraces (stairs) in front of the homestead verandah, the side orchard and enjoy the peaceful rural atmosphere. Private areas behind the homestead’s upper level and back of property are reserved for staff and owner privacy. By prior arrangement, guests may meet our resident peacock or some of the wildlife currently in care, as your host is a registered wildlife carer who often looks after a wide variety of orphaned wildlife like ducks, possums, joeys, and native birds and reptiles. You’ll also find The Bell of Bridgetown near the homestead. Guests are invited to ring it at 12 noon or 6 pm during their stay (by prior arrangement only). Its story and history are shared on our website. Whether you’re here to recharge, explore, or simply slow down, Elysian Bridgetown offers the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty, all within minutes of Bridgetown’s cafés, shops, and markets. # If you are attending with a wheel chair please advise in advance, we have special door lips that make rolling in the doors and onto the deck a breeze and we are only to happy to put these in place if we know. Pet-friendly: Dogs are warmly welcomed by prior arrangement only in Studios 2 or 4. A $20 cash pet fee per dog applies on arrival. Please keep pets off furniture, on lead outdoors, and never left unattended. Safety Note: For the comfort and safety of all guests, children must be supervised at all times. Our property features open rural spaces, wildlife areas, and garden terraces that are not suitable for unsupervised play. Please note that access beyond the upper level of the homestead is reserved for staff and owner privacy. At times, guests can arrange to come meet our resident peacock or some of the wildlife currently in care, as a registered wildlife carer, I often look after orphaned or injured ducks, possums, joeys, and native birds, and reptiles or wildlife of all kinds, this often fascinates children.
