Clean room, centrally located in Bonn Bad Godesberg. If you like the room, please introduce yourself and write me the exact reason for your stay. Please read the whole description and the house rules. The space The room is a single rooms. The room is located on the third floor and is accessible via a common staircase. It is one of four shared rooms distributed on several floors of the house. The room is lockable and equipped with a single bed, wardrobe, table, chair and a TV. The equipment includes: - TV and WIFI - bed linen, towels - One single bed, wardrobe - shared bathroom - shared kitchen - table, chairs - "Tchibo Cafissimo" coffee maker, electric kettle - a sink - four hotplates - oven - pots, dishes, pans & cutlery - fridge, freezer - dishwasher - tabs for the dishwasher are provided free of charge - microwave - an iron, ironing board and hairdryer - we do NOT have extras such as a dough machine, bread maker or blender In the basement all guests have access to a laundry room with a paid washing machine and a free dryer. Laundry must be dried in the laundry room. To prevent mold, the drying of laundry in the rooms is strictly prohibited. The rooms are mainly rented by employees of the UN, Deutsche Welle, GIZ, Telekom, Deutsche Post as well as students and interns. We do offer rental agreements from six months. Unfortunately, we cannot accept tourists or guests who are traveling for private reasons. You must present an official document from your employer or institution stating that you are employed, working on a project, doing an internship, studying or similar during your stay in Bonn. We are obliged to confirm to the city the non-touristic reason for each guest's stay. We have to prove this with official documents. Please ask me so I can explain everything in detail. Guest access The rooms are independent living units. - On the first floor right next to the entrance door is the shared kitchen to which only tenants of the rooms have access with their room keys. Please close the door to the kitchen as soon as you leave. - Each room tenant has their own numbered compartment in the fridge & freezer as well as in the cupboard. - The shared bathroom of the four shared rooms, is located on the third floor. - The laundry room is located in the basement with a paid washing machine and a free dryer and is used by all tenants in the building. Laundry must be dried in the laundry room or on the balcony in the shared bathroom. To prevent mold in the rooms, drying laundry in the rooms is strictly forbidden. - In addition to the four shared rooms, there are three separate and private apartments on different floors of the house. These are each independent units. It is forbidden that they enter or use the common areas of the shared rooms. Other things to note Excerpt from the statutes for charging an accommodation tax in the City of Bonn. Status: 01.01.2024 The federal city of Bonn has raised an accommodation tax since 01.07.2015. This tax must be paid by all those who stay overnight in Bonn in an accommodation establishment (in particular hotel, hotel garni, inn, guesthouse, private room, youth hostel, vacation apartment, motel, campsite, ship or similar establishment) for a fee. From 01.01.2024, the accommodation tax will be 6% of the amount spent on accommodation (including VAT). The tax debtor is the guest staying in the accommodation. The host collects the tax directly from the guest and forwards it to the City of Bonn. The tax is charged for a maximum of 21 days of uninterrupted accommodation in the same establishment. I must charge this tax separately after booking. Each tenant is responsible for regular cleaning of his room and for order and cleanliness in the common areas. Except for the change of bed linen, other services and regular room cleaning are not included. Please wash used dishes, pots and cutlery immediately after use or put them in the dishwasher. Please make sure that you remove any food residues beforehand. As a tenant you have to provide your own consumables such as hygiene products and detergents. You will receive a small welcome package with hygiene items to get started. In order to be considerate of everyone and since there are already four tenants in total, we do not allow any additional guests or visitors. The bathroom and the kitchen are designed for a maximum of four tenants. Please also be considerate of your fellow tenants, no one wants to be disturbed by strange guests in the kitchen or have to wait long for the bathroom due to too many guests. From 22.00 is night rest in the entire house. Please also pay attention to your volume during the day.
