This home has been in our family for 75 years and was recently renovated to maintain original charm while modernizing the amenities. The house is full of family lore and all the vintage furniture and decorations are family heirlooms. Our grandparents, Sylvester (Shy) and Marguerite Collette, raised our mom and her sisters in the house. We grew up visiting them, and our Aunt Regina, who lived on one side for her entire adult life. When Auntie Gina passed away in 2020, our siblings (who live in Portland, OR and Paris, France) decided to fix up the house and make it our Ohio base so we can return to our home state, visit family and host reunions at this house that was so significant to our childhoods. Grandma Marguerite passed away when we were young, so for as long as we knew the house, it had two parts - Shy's Side and Regina's Side. This listing is Regina's Side. The neighborhood is a very safe and walkable area and the rental includes a covered garage space. Other things to note Train tracks run through the neighborhood so you may hear an occasional train, which typically runs in the mornings.
