Welcome to the Crew Nest at Windcrest! A vibrant, insta-worthy home conveniently located in NE SATX, minutes to military bases & Riverwalk! Our spacious nest offers a comfortable escape from the Texas heat! The home is nestled between Randolph AFB (10 min) and Ft. Sam (16 min). It is also a short drive to Lackland and downtown amenities! The Riverwalk (20 min) and airport (13 min) are also a quick, convenient drive— perfect for a getaway weekend or family adventure! The space Upon entry into the home, you’re greeted by our custom “Welcome to SATX” statement mural— a perfect backdrop for your vacation photo sesh! With 9’ ceilings throughout and a large living room sectional, there’s room for the whole crew! The kitchen is equipped with all the cookware you’ll need and an array of small kitchen appliances! The dining space offers ample seating for 6 guests. Not having a “sit down” meal? The breakfast bar offers leather barstools for (4) to sit and sip your coffee or have a quick snack! Moving upstairs, there is an open loft with a couch, two leather chairs, and a smart TV. The shelving in the loft is home to board games available for your use. All bedrooms are also located upstairs. Bedroom 1 features a king bed, dresser, nightstands, and desk. It also has an en suite bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower stall. Bedroom 2 offers a full bed. The second full bath is directly across the hall. Bed 3 features a queen bed, nightstands, dresser, and smart tv. It is at the end of the hall by itself and shares the second full bath with bedroom 2. *First floor office offers a couch that converts to a full-size bed. For groups of 7 or 8, we will automatically convert and prep this space as a 4th bed option. There is a half bath directly next to the office space, however, all full baths are upstairs.* The backyard is fenced for privacy and does have a grill available for use. Lounge outside in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the sun! Guest access You'll receive door access codes prior to arrival. Guests will have access to the whole home with the exception of the upstairs hall closet and locked owner's closet in the downstairs half bathroom. Other things to note The day prior to check in, you will be provided a link to our welcome guide that outlines all of the home specifics. For stays 28 days or greater, guests are required to sign a rental agreement at the time of reservation. Failure to return the agreement will result in denial or cancellation of the reservation. Rentals less than 28 days must acknowledge and agree to house rules at time of booking. We are in close proximity to Randolph AFB, which is home to multiple flight training programs. It is possible you’ll hear and see aircraft overhead during the day on M-Fr. * We are a military family and are willing to accommodate locality rate for fellow members traveling in TDY status. *
