Welcome to the Lookout Joe, one of Homegrown Hideaway’s all Canadian Glamping tents. Homegrown Hideaway is a family-owned, serene luxury glamping property nestled along the Lynn River and Lynn Valley Trail, just outside of popular tourist destination Port Dover, Ontario. Each of our Glamping sites are ready to welcome you with all of the essentials you need for a relaxing vacation. Get ready to relax, and reconnect with a simpler way of living at Homegrown Hideaway. See you soon! The space Lookout Joe features a queen sized bed so comfortable guests ask what kind of mattress it is! We also provide freshly cleaned white linens and towels, and all your kitchen basics for cooking over a fire or on the BBQ. Top it all off with a private, outdoor rainwater shower right at your tent. Staying with us is the perfect opportunity to disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle, and reconnect with your loved ones. Cots or a pop up tent are available for your children when you bring the family! Each tent is made of Canadian sourced canvas that stands up to our summer storms. The furniture is hand built by us from reclaimed wood salvaged when we repurposed the barn. The grounds at Homegrown Hideaway are well kept. Relax at your site, or explore the wooded areas. Play frisbee in the large open field, go swimming or tubing in the river. Bring your fishing poles and try your luck in the Lynn! Guest access While staying with us you will have access to your site, along with the other public amenities. The space features a few pollinator gardens, a large open field, access to the Lynn River, and a shaded riverside oasis.
