Landmark, Accessible Home in Historic Downtown

The main floor offers easy access and features a spacious living room, dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen/laundry area with refreshments. Relax in the Queen bedroom and modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and Japanese-style bidet toilet. Upstairs, find 3 bedrooms incl. an exercise room with daybed, TV, and a full bathroom. Just one block from Historic Belleville’s Main Street with unique shops, restaurants, and events. The space The house is an 1859 historic home located in downtown Belleville. The area is well-lit and considered safe. Access to the house's main floor is without any stairs from the street/sidewalk. There is a small parking spot behind the house, and a large, free public lot across the street. The house is a happy house making you step back in time, and you will feel it when you enter through the front door. Guest access Guests get to use the entire home, except for the basement. Other things to note The home has been largely restored, but we are still working on a few odds and ends in-between guests to fully bring the home back; these are mainly cosmetic issues that should not affect your stay (trim work, etc.). For Mai-August, some exterior projects are scheduled--the exterior woodwork, soffit, windows, will be scraped and painted, the brick walls will be re-pointed, the retaining wall in the back replaced along with the parking pad and the rear fence. We have scheduled the work during blocked weeks but some overlap on a check-in or check-out date might be possible due to weather, etc.
