PALAT HOUSE

Palat House is a historic heritage home in central Kerala. This hundred year old building has been home to a plethora of judges, diplomats, civil servants and scholars. Set in a large compound on a quiet residential street in the heart of Ottapalam, Palat House is an imposing structure built in typical Kerala style with wide verandahs, terraces and common spaces and marked by lavish woodwork and traditional furniture. There are five bedrooms three of which are air-conditioned. The space All the bedrooms have attached bathrooms. Guests have access to all the common areas such as upstairs and downstairs living rooms, dining room, verandahs, open and covered terraces and kitchen. Guest access The guest can access the corridor area and all other common areas. Other things to note Being a small town, there could be occasional power cuts. We have a back up to power lights and fans but not air-conditioners or appliances.
