The Banana Bungalow + Mini Farm Experience

The Banana Bungalow is a bed and breakfast that is whimsical, bodacious & eclectic vibe w/ a touch of a mini farm experience. Schedule to cuddle with our cows, tortoises, flock & collect your own fresh eggs. The 312 sq ft bungalow is attached to the main home w/ private access, kitchenette, full size fridge & Dream Big on your queen bed! Private washer/dryer & large fenced yard. (Veteran/Nurse/Small Family Operated) (FYI we have roosters but most guests always say they can barely hear them) The space *The Banana Bungalow is centrally located; 6 miles to Downtown Las Vegas, 5.6 miles to the Strip, & 8.3 miles to Red Rock. For the mini farm experience we just ask that you schedule a time you would like to hang with the animals or collect eggs so we can properly show you the process. Eggs vary day to day as not all our chicks lay everyday. We have a total of 14 hens, 2 turkey and 3 roosters, and a peacock. We limit egg collecting to 1-2 times a week, most of our eggs go back to our community. We rent our land in the front so you will see extra cars, RV’s, boats and etc. This is an owner-occupied house with a fully private attached 312 sq ft casita/bungalow. We are always available to answer any questions or assist you if needed. We're only a skip away! We also respect your privacy and will ask you in a quick questionnaire on your preference of communication with us. Your Stay Includes: All utilities (internet, gas, water, electric, & Netflix) Fast WiFi Pet Friendly (2 pet max) Your pet can roam free in the private bungalow fenced area but please have your pet leashed when in front of the house. Thanks! 2 Person Capacity (You can request a rolling folding twin bed if there is a small family -- two adults, one kid. Or if it's two friends, one who sleeps on the queen and one who doesn't mind sleeping on the twin). Please inquire if you have a small family or 2 friends that will be staying in the space. It takes 45 min to heat the hot tub and please be mindful of conserving our gas bill, lol!) Guest access You will have access year round to our pool and hot tub. Please note it takes 45 minutes to heat the hot tub up, just let us know and we’d be happy to turn it on. FYI…We have to turn it on from our phones. We also want to keep our prices low and not everyone would want to utilize our hot tub, but for those who would like to use the hot tub, we ask you help us conserve our gas bill. :) You can also hang out at our pond in the front of the house to zen out and see fishes and turtles. You can schedule a time to hang with Big Papa during warmer months. He’s our 80 lb 40 year old Sulcata. Schedule a time to collect eggs from our chickens and we’ll explain the process to clean and cook. We have our food handlers card and producer certificate to distribute eggs. We limit egg collecting to 1-2 times a week as a lot of our eggs go to our community. Other things to note We have roosters that crow. We offer ear plugs in case, but all of our guests who have stayed here say they can barely hear them from the bungalow and they don’t mind it. But just fyi for people who are light sleepers. *Close to restaurants, groceries, hospitals & more. Adorable & older neighborhood charm. (Please note: We have a few roosters, chickens, a turkey, peacock, peahen, tortoises, dogs, and a cat on the property but they do not have access to your space) * Your fully private bungalow is attached by the bungalow dining area hallway, our garage and our laundry room. You might hear our laundry. However, you can close 2 doors to help block noise. * We are on septic so we provide the septic approved toilet paper for your whole stay. Woo-hoo! * There is a few steps at the front door. *There is a step down to the dining area/storage nook where washer and dryer is. * Sign a month to month lease agreement if staying longer than 90 days. * If bringing a pet, your pet can roam free in the private bungalow fenced area but please have your pet leashed when in front of the house.
