The Surf Shack is a 3 bedroom Swift holiday home, situated at the award winning Haven Perran Sands Holiday Park. It has a large grassy area where you can play safely. We are a 5 minute walk from the entertainment and a 20 minute walk to the beach. Our holiday home has 3 bedrooms & sleeps up to 6 people. It has a master double bedroom, two twin bedrooms & a double sofa bed in the living room. A travel cot & mini highchair is available. Beds are made up for your arrival. The space The spacious living room has a 40" TV with Chromecast (for best results, pre download movies work best), flame effect electric heater, coffee table with four footstools and a Bluetooth built in audio speaker system. You will also find a selection of games and books for your family to enjoy. In the master bedroom there is a 22" TV, a hairdryer and plenty of storage space. Bedroom 2 has two twin beds which can be pushed together to make a double bed (if requested). Bedroom 3 has a single bed with space for an additional bed or travel cot. (if requested). There are two bathrooms, one with a heated towel rail and walk in shower. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge freezer, iron, ironing board, oven and hob and all utensils you require for your holiday. Outside our caravan you have a private parking space big enough for two cars. The patio area has a large picnic table which seats eight. The outdoors trunk contains games and beach items (no need to worry if you haven’t got room for the bucket and spades). We’re very lucky to have a large, level grassy area for your children to play at the side and behind our caravan. Guest access Guest details are registered with Haven prior to arrival. An entry code and directions will be provided a few days prior to arrival. At the entrance to Perran Sands Holiday Park, there are regular buses towards Newquay or Perranporth and Truro. Electric car chargers are a couple minutes walk from the Surf Shack There is free WIFI in our caravan, however it is dependable on signal strength which can vary due to the remote location. It is best used for surfing the net, social media and casting pre-downloaded movies. It is not suitable for streaming or gaming. Wifi is also available throughout Haven's main complex. PLEASE NOTE During Uk school holidays we have a minimum 7 nights booking policy, starting on Saturdays. All other dates are flexible with a minimum 3 nights booking. Play Passes are NOT included but can be purchased at reception or online before you arrive. Play Passes gives access to the indoor and outdoor pool which feature a lazy river (summer only) and to the evening entertainment. You do not need to purchase a pass for the other attractions / food outlets. Beds are made up for your arrival. You will need to bring towels. We do NOT accept same sex group bookings, Hen or Stag parties (Haven rules) Other things to note Perran Sands Holidays Park is one of Haven's Premier sites and is a friendly, clean park that offers fun for all the family. There are 3 restaurants on site; The 'Surfbay' restaurant which serves family classic meals and vegetarian dishes, and has a novelty VW camper-van table which can be booked for you to enjoy your meal. On site you will also find 'Cooks' fish and chips takeaway, 'Slim Chickens' where you can feast on chicken with a side of Blues music and finally Papa Johns pizza takeaway. You can download the Haven app to order to your table or direct to the Surf Shack. The park also features Coast Sports Bar, which shows popular sports channels. A Co-op store is on site serving Costa Coffee and hot pastries alongside essentials. Haven ‘Play Passes’ allow you access to the evening entertainment in the club house and to the heated indoor and outdoor pool with lazy river (summer only). Play passes can be purchased separately online or at reception when you arrive. If you fancy a change from the beautiful beach (did we mention it’s 3 miles of golden sand), other facilities at Perran Sands, which don’t require a Play Pass, include: A variety of clubs for all ages is available throughout the day to keep the children entertained (surf lessons, arcade, mini golf, football, mini Segway's, archery, outdoor parks, trampolining, climbing wall and family sized pedal buggies). Please Note: There is a charge for some of the above activities. Perran Sands Holiday Park has lots to keep you entertained! Out & About If you want a change of scene, you can take a leisurely 30 minute walk over the sand dunes down to Perranporth, or drive down to the town in 5 minutes. Perranporth town is a quaint seaside town with numerous gift shops, bars, restaurants and takeaways, the beach is over 3 miles long (tide dependant) with soft golden Sands, there are lifeguards on duty during the season for your added safety. There is a golf course and a riding stable next to the holiday park. Other towns and attraction nearby include: Newquay - 8 miles; Eden Project - 23 miles; Bodmin Moor - 25 miles; St Ives - 26 miles; - Land's End - 38 miles and Plymouth - 55 miles.
