Large room with spacious shared kitchen and garden

Large room in a spacious, quiet house close to city centre and airport. I love with my two cats on some days my 13-year-old son is here too. Chorlton tram and an array of takeaways, restaurants, bars, parks and supermarkets only 5 min away. Bus to town from top of the road. Cycle routes to central Manchester. Train stations & the airport 20 min by road. Old Trafford football & cricket walkable. Fast wifi/ethernet. Large kitchen. Living room. Big garden. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher. The space Large semi-detached house in a quiet wide residential side street with very little traffic and plenty of on-street parking. Porch and large hallway. AirBnB guest room is just inside the front door with a large bay window looking out on the front garden. Wooden floorboards. Comfortable double bed, sofa, wardrobe with hanging space and full length mirror. Wifi 150Mbps with ethernet cable option in the room. Small desk. Bedding and towels provided. Hair dryer. Large bathroom upstairs with guest storage space. Kitchen and dining area with dedicated guest cupboard space, fridge and freezer drawer. Spices, oils and cooking essentials. Guest access Inside the front door is a shared hallway with stored ironing board, iron, clothes hanging racks, vacuum cleaner and mop. Large, light kitchen with dining table and plenty of work surfaces for shared use; five gas hobs, two ovens and a grill. Two fridges. Dishwasher and dishwasher tablets. Several saucepans and lots of plates / bowls / cutlery and most standard utensils. Cafetière, and motorised citrus press for super-easy fresh orange juice. Salt & pepper mills and a selection of oils, herbs & spices. Cupboard, fridge space and a freezer drawer for AirBnB guest. Dining area with large table. Bluetooth / AirPlay speaker. Side door to garden. Instructions for recycling. Gated bicycle access to garage from the driveway. Spare bike for use on request. My cats, Georgie (white, 19 years old) and Tilly (black) have food and water bowls here and their cat flap. Please note that there is a cat litter tray in the front hallway. The living room is behind AirBnB guest room with french doors onto shared terrace and garden. Two garden tables and chairs. When my son is about and the weather is nice, he and children from the next door house may play across the gardens. I don’t have a television but in the living room there’s a large sofa with a stereo hifi and speakers that can be connected by bluetooth and AirPlay for watching films etc on a laptop. Upstairs large bathroom with walk-in shower, hot-water at all times, toilet and sink with mirror. [Bath currently out of use.] Deep drawer in cabinet for guest use. Hanging space for towels. Bath mats. Toilet rolls provided. During your stay I like to chat, interact and share when we see each other. Other things to note The house is for much of the time very quiet when I am at work and with only the cats and an occasional passing car and a big, peaceful garden. Occasionally on a nice day after school, there can be a bit of a flurry of activity in the shared areas with neighbours' children playing / sharing food. My son is here showering and preparing for school on Wednesday and Thursday mornings between 7 and 8 AM and at other times the schedule is flexible.
