The West Wing at The Kilkelly's

The main house is set atop the peak of our 22 acres of gardens and wide panoramic views. From the back of the house you can see rolling hills of green, our front lawn of both native and imported flora, as well as roaming horses and often native fauna, such as deer and bounding bunnies. To the back of the high mountain home you have views of a private section of the blue ridge parkway gorge. The space The home is divided into two main parts, this listing is for the west wing. This is a 1,700 square foot, completely private 2 story condo. It has 2 king suites. It has panoramic views of the gorge and night sky, gas log stoves, a balcony porch with seating and swing, high-speed Wi-Fi internet, and access to the garden grounds. Sunset to sunrise will give you the feeling of being out in the open, and at the same time being completely surrounded by the varying landscapes of the blue ridge mountains. Guest access The entire condo is completely private, with only a two door hallway with private entrance and locks that connect the main house. Private entrance and keypad, as well as private parking. Other things to note Kilkellys is perched high in the pristine Blue Ridge Mountains, on a finger ridge of the Eastern Continental Divide. We are very close to the major ski resorts. We look down over 1,700 feet into Triplett Gorge to the East, and to the West opens a 30-mile valley of pastoral forests and farms extending to majestic Beech Mountain. The views include long-range, layered mountains with 100-mile horizons, combined with vaulted views of dramatic cliffs and close-in steep topography. We live on 22 acres of private woodland, fields, and flowers. And we invite our guests to enjoy all aspects of this special mountain ridge.
