There is an expansive lawn to the left of the cottage with a dedicated bonfire pit. You will see all shades of greens and blues in the backdrop. The space A place where you feel like you belong, the cosy furnishings and decor of this elderly-friendly homestay welcome you with a warm embrace. Hum along to some tunes on the speaker system with your loved ones or simply enjoy the stillness and tranquillity as time passes by. The layout of the home: There are two entrances to this wheelchair-accessible, elderly-friendly cottage. Guests can either take the 12 steps up to the doors or roll over the ramp that runs parallelly. There is an expansive lawn to the left of the cottage with a dedicated bonfire pit. Take a moment to simply admire the enticing view from this area as you will see all shades of greens and blues in the backdrop. The house opens up to a living room to the left and a dining area in the front. There is also a fully-equipped kitchenette towards the right of the dining area. There are 2 bedrooms on either side of this homestay, both of which overlook Bhimtal Lake. The kids' room is towards the left of the dining area. While one bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, the bedroom towards the left shares a bathroom with the kids’ room. If you are accompanied by drivers or house help, there is also a dedicated staff quarter accommodation for them towards the right side of the cottage. What can you do here: What would be a trip to the hills without an evening bonfire? Get all toasty and warm as you count the stars in the skies and create memories with your family. While your pet babies are busy having a gala time, play a game of badminton or kho kho on the lawn. Relax blissfully in the sit-out area and appreciate the beauty of your surrounding, the majestic Bhimtal Lake right in front, and this cozy homestay in Uttarakhand surrounded by trees on all sides…not a site often found! Guest access Guest can access the entire villa except for the kitchen. Other things to note Meals: Meals are provided onsite and can be availed at additional charges. We levy an on-site cash handling charge (INR 500) and request you to pay for all meals before check-in to avoid this inconvenience. The caretaker is also present on-site to assist you at all times. We offer healthy home-cooked meals prepared, please refer to the menu for all details. Meals are available at Rs 1600 plus taxes per person, per day and for children at Rs 1350 plus taxes per child, per day. Timings: Breakfast: 8 am - 10 am Lunch: 1 pm - 2.30 pm High-Tea: 4 pm - 5.30 pm Dinner: 8 pm - 10.30 pm - The property is wheelchair accessible as there is a ramp that starts from the entrance and leads up to the door. Alternatively, there are 5 steps and 7 steps which are connected with a ramp that leads to the door of the villa. - There is a kids’ room in the cottage where 2 children can sleep comfortably. 5 adult guests and 2 children can be easily accommodated. - There is an inverter backup in case of electricity fluctuations and water pressure pumps for good water flow thus ensuring a memorable stay. - Bonfire can be made available at an additional cost of INR 750 per day. - Pet charges will be INR - 1000/- per day.
