Description
The Fisherman's House is a 4 bedroomed 1970s style house sitting in a recently converted complex nestled in 76 acres of open fields and woodland with a 3 acre private fishing lake, right at the Heart of the National Forest. Just a few minutes drive from the historic town of Ashby de la Zouch with lots of boutique shops, bars and restaurants. Adjacent to Hicks lodge Cycle Centre and the many surrounding walks. A beautiful rural escape with everything you need for a truly memorable holiday. The space The House has been recently redecorated and has a large woodburning stove, dining kitchen, and lounge area. Hastings Retreat has a lovely outlook and this property being of an older style offers a more reasonably priced stay for large groups on a tighter budget. The house leans to the right and may not be suitable for some who suffer from balance issues. Outside there is a decking area with views down to the lake and an optional hot tub at additional cost from £120 per stay which can be booked separately using the guest guide that you will receive 24 hrs after booking. There are 2 shower rooms and the kitchen is well appointed with an american style fridge freezer, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside there is plenty of open space and direct access across a field to the nearby Hicks Lodge cycling centre and plenty of walks within the National Forest. Other things to note Please note, The garden is not fenced. The hot tub is an optional extra and not included in the price of your stay. You can book this using the guest guide that is sent to you via email 24 hrs after your booking is confirmed the cost is £120 for up to 3 nights and £150 for longer stays.
