Tranquil orchard suite with view

Your private, sunny suite includes 1 bedroom, a full bath, family room and small kitchen space. The space is separated from the rest of the house by 2 doors and a hallway so it is quiet, but if you need us for anything, we are generally close by or reachable by phone. The space Your private entrance will lead you into the family room, complete with comfortable couch, dining table with 4 chairs, screen and DVD player, and a piano that you are welcome to play. There is a kitchen space that will be supplied with a coffee maker, coffee, hot water pot and assorted teas, sugar and honey. There is a small refrigerator where you will find orange juice and whatever other breakfast choices we have. For breakfast I usually have homemade granola, yogurt, fruit and Aussie bites. There is also a microwave. Continuing up the stairs you will find the newly remodeled bathroom with a lovely shower. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with memory foam topper on the mattress.The bedroom has ample closet space, and two large windows with second-floor views of the orchard and beyond. The yard, over an acre large, is part of what makes us so happy to call this place home. We have dozens of apple trees, abundant berries of several types, a kiwi arbor, and gardens with various flowers and vegetables. It is always available for your enjoyment, and we welcome you to pick whatever's in season! Guest access If you stay for a longer period of time you can use our laundry area. Other things to note We are a beautiful 8 minute walk from Luther Burbank's summer cottage and horticultural farm, and 1 mile away from a county park with over 160 acres of natural terrain, traversed by asphalt and dirt paths for walkers, runners and cyclists. There is also a friendly dog park area. Several wineries and tasting rooms are within a 10 mile radius. There are wonderful restaurants in Sebastopol, some within walking distance, and interesting shopping. The Barlow is a new upscale area created to draw in more visitors from the Bay Area, and has microbreweries, wine tasting, food, music venues and more. It is about a mile from our home.
