Welcome to Millie's - a century-old fisherman's house in Spaniard's Bay, Newfoundland. This family property sits on 4 acres of pristine seaside land and was lovingly renovated "to the studs" in 2019. Millie's is truly special - during the season, guests are welcome to indulge in fresh berries and apples, and even join us for a thrilling cod jigging expedition which we can help arrange. Alternatively, simply relax in the hot tub and marvel at the stunning sunrise from the wharf. The space Upon entering, you'll adore our open-concept floor layout, flooded with natural light from ample windows on all sides. With plenty of cozy spots to lounge with a good book, you can bask in the ocean views that fill the house when you open the front door. The main bedroom is on the first floor, with a flight of about 10 stairs leading to the second level. Featuring two double beds and one queen bed, Millie's can accommodate up to 6 adults, though it's ideally suited for families with children or groups of 4 adults seeking comfort. The hot tub is nestled in a private fenced area, providing the perfect oasis for unwinding, forgetting your worries, and indulging in pure relaxation. Our backyard is also fenced, making it safe and fun for kids to play. And don't forget the on-site greenhouse and garden, which we'll lovingly tend to during extended summer stays! As we have a greenhouse and garden on site, you may see us occasionally tending to them and taking care of the hot tub during longer stays.
