This beautiful light and bright studio has its own sunny, plant-filled patio - ideal for alfresco dining and relaxing. It is the perfect base from which to explore South Devon. Go by car, bus or rail to stunning coasts, beaches and countryside. Visit pubs in nearby villages or go to Totnes, 3 miles away, with its markets, individual shops, restaurants and wine bars. From there enjoy a river trip to historic Dartmouth. Our friendly village has a great shop, post office and garage. The space Tim and Gilly welcome you to Patio Barn, a light, airy, easy living space with up-to-date decor and amenities. There is a large sofa which is easily converted into a kingsize bed to maximise the space, a wardrobe, dining table, two chairs and three radiators should they be required. The wall lights can be dimmed to create a cosy atmosphere. It has its own kitchen space with a 4 ring induction hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee percolator teapot and is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans and utensils. The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet, fan and heated towel rail. There is Wifi in the barn. There is a washing line to dry beach gear. Double sliding glass doors open on to the patio with outdoor furniture, sun parasol and and ‘Outback’ 3 burner gas BBQ with utensils. Outside lights can used to illuminate the patio. Guest access Patio Barn is entirely separate from the Host’s accommodation. Guests have use of the patio space in front of the barn and the area containing the BBQ. The garden area behind the barn is private. A parking place on the driveway is allocated to guests and from there Patio Barn is accessed by a garden gate. Other things to note Self check-in is via a key safe located by the barn’s sliding doors, though the Hosts are usually available to welcome guests. If you arrive after dark the outside lights will be on to help you find your way. Strictly no smoking anywhere on the premesis. No pets allowed in the property or in the grounds. No loud music, parties or events.
