Description
Nestling within the beautiful golden valley in the heart of the Cotswolds is The Stableyard, a recently converted stable building positioned next to a 16th century mill owner's house, The Old Valley Inn. The Stableyard is the perfect, peaceful place for a couple to unwind and enjoy this fantastic area, which boasts a picturesque canal path and walks a plenty. Not that easy to find. Try using the What3words app. Address is: ///vibe.cemented.goat. This will take you to the gate. The space The Stableyard has a large, light and airy bedroom with super kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with roll top bath. Exposed stone and oak beams are a main feature and are a perfect backdrop for the lovely fabrics and carefully chosen furniture. On the ground floor there is an open plan sitting room with more exposed stone leading to a bright kitchen with a feature floor length window overlooking the garden and field. Character meets absolute comfort. Guest access The Stableyard shares a drive with the owner, but once parked alongside the property it is very private. There is a small private garden overlooking the fields in which to enjoy Alfresco dining. Other things to note A breakfast hamper will be provided, including locally sourced produce for you to enjoy. Let us know if you are Vegetarian or Vegan. Because of the setup of the building, it is not suitable for children or toddlers. Babes in arms are welcome with prior agreement. The property is positioned next to a field with sheep and chickens so therefore is not suitable for dogs. The nearest supermarket is a 10 minute drive although there is a community run village shop within walking distance. The Stable Yard is located near a railway line and disused canal. Trains run infrequently and this has not proved a problem for guests.
