Private bedroom w/ bath & kitchenette & parking

The space we have available is for traveling professionals or those doing internships. It includes a bedroom with attached bath, private dry bar area with private fridge and microwave, and a private off street parking spot near the basement entry. We are in close proximity to clinics, hospitals, shopping, trails, and restaurants, in the desirable north-central part of town. The space A bit about our home and family - We are situated on 2.5 acres in the north central part of town. The guest space is in the lower level of our ranch home, with a walkout basement. We have a lower level driveway with a dedicated parking spot for our guests that lead to the lower level guest entry. Just inside the entry you will find an exercise space with beautiful mountain view’s. Just in a bit further we have set up a separate dry-bar/kitchenette area with a table and chairs. It has a coffee maker, microwave, and Ninja Digital Air Fry Countertop Oven with 8 functions that can make a 12” pizza. There is also a full sized refrigerator w/ freezer for your convenience. Past the kitchenette area (which is reserved to be used exclusively by our renters), we have an entertainment area set up with a 75" smart tv and leather reclining couches. This is shared space, but most days it is not occupied and available for your private use! Down the hall we have a separate washer and dryer for you. Guests are also allowed access to the exercise equipment, including a treadmill, dumbbells, squat rack, barbells, etc. The guest suite is in a quiet corner under the master closet and bathroom, nestled in the back lower corner of the house. The room has a home office (which is used during the day) on one side and a utility room on the other. We provide a box fan for those who like to sleep with a little noise or air movement. The guest suite is outfitted with a queen bed with a 3" removable mattress topper for added comfort. It has an attached bathroom with walk in shower! We are also happy to share the upper, gourmet kitchen. With a little notice, we can be out of your way so you can cook home-made meals or do meal prep for easy reheating later. A little about our family: We have three school aged kids and one F1B mini-goldendoodle. She doesn't shed, is considered hypoallergenic, and is so so so friendly. The kids and dog are upstairs most of the time. They are all very well behaved and are respectful to our guests and your privacy. Our family often goes out hiking or to local parks or the zoo when the weather is warm. We are also active in our church, hosting a small group here on Sunday evenings. We do use the basement during this time for the kids to play, but we wrap up around 7:30 and kids leave promptly thereafter. We also have a keyed lock/doorknob to the guest room, so you can rest assured your privacy is protected. We are most comfortable renting this space to traveling professionals (who are here under contracted jobs) or master/grad students, however, if you feel you may be a good fit for our space, feel free to inquire and tell us a little about yourself. References/proof of employment/background check, etc may be requested. The safety of our kids is of our upmost importance. We do prefer to obtain “getting to know you” details from each prospective tenant to ensure we have a good fit for the space! Guest access The main upper level (living room, dining room and kitchen) are shared space as this is where our family spends the majority of our time at home. We are happy to schedule you time and space to cook full meals in the upper, gourmet kitchen space. We ask that you plan accordingly with the homeowners for the kitchen and that you clean up after yourself. The majority of the basement as described in "the space" will be almost exclusively for your use. The guest bedroom is key locked and completely private for you. During your stay We are happy to help you with anything you need during your stay, but plan to give you your own space most of the time. We want you to feel comfortable, so let us know if their is anything you need during your stay. Other things to note We are on a septic tank. No flushable wipes, personal hygiene products or cleaning chemicals may be put down the drains/toilets. We require quiet hours at night, from 10 pm (our kids go to bed at 8) until 7 am. Our littles have food allergies including, but not limited to nuts and peanuts. Care must be used when using these in shared spaces. We do not provide consumable products such as shampoo and conditioner or paper products such as toilet paper or paper towels. Please see house rules for a full list of home policies.
