Walk to downtown, Empire Mine State Park & Fairgrounds from this historic Victorian home built in 1881. 2 private rooms accommodate two adults and two children or two couples if the air mattress is utilized. Hotel-type amenities with nearly 700 sq ft to spread out and relax. Room for storing bikes inside. Private entrance, fully contained, no shared spaces. Easy off-street parking. Barefoot-worthy clean. The space The private entrance is the unique original 1881 stained glass beauty that leads up to your Sky Parlor! There is a spot before heading up the stairs to store your gear; bikes, skis, snowboards, paddle boards, and dirty shoes! The upstairs is all yours! You have two separate rooms, one is dedicated as a master bedroom with a sleep number queen bed, TV, recliner, and plenty of places to stash your stuff for an extended stay. The lounge/other room has been arranged as a studio; you can use it as a sitting room style of living space with your hotel-style kitchenette and work area that doubles as a vanity. This same room can be suited for sleeping up to 2+ additional guests; sofa/chaise converts to a double bed, and a queen air mattress can be pulled out for more snoozing room (both rooms have a locking door). Smart TV's in each room. The bathroom is centrally located and has a shower and toiletries. Take advantage of the wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The downstairs of this lovely home is a separate unit inhabited by your hosts. They have a couple of dogs you might occasionally hear through the shared wall in the downstairs entrance. Guest access Your access is the front door that leads to the entire top floor. It is set up as a separate guest suite/apartment, with no shared spaces. Outdoor space: You have access to the front yard only. The backyard is used by your hosts and their furry companions. The garage is also not available for access. Other things to note There is a kitchenette where you can prepare food using the fancy microwave that doubles as an oven and Air Fryer. No stovetop, but there are so many wonderful places to eat locally.
