The Cottage - The Yan at Broadrayne

Our Grasmere holiday cottages are situated in the very heart of the Lake District National Park; Broadrayne farm is a traditional Lakeland Farm with a small cluster of former 17th century farm buildings nestling round a picturesque farmyard in the beautiful Vale of Grasmere. Enjoying a sunny elevated position surrounded by some of Britain’s finest scenery. The picturesque village of Grasmere is a short stroll away and there is a traditional Lakeland Inn just 400 yards down the road. The space The cottage sits at the end of the small cluster of 17th-19th century farm buildings. The entrance porch leads into the large farmhouse kitchen with it’s feature fireplace, dresser and big dining table. This spacious fully fitted kitchen has many useful extras including dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge freezer,microwave and coffee machine. Steps lead down to the hallway and into a separate comfortable lounge (Flat Screen TV, Blueray DVD and Open Fire) a door from the hallway leads out into the delightful south facing garden. Upstairs there are two good bedrooms a sunny king-sized double and a double room. The family bathroom has bath with shower over, basin and wc. The double room also has a wash basin. All bed linen and towels are provided and the beds are made up ready for you. Guest access Parking for one car. Private garden with uninterrupted mountain and valley views, with small BBQ, table & chairs and a lovely arbout seat to watch the sun go down over Helm Crag.
