One Bedroom - Walk to the Lift! This condo`s location is world class for winter and summer visitors looking to hike and ski in a pristine location. Looking up at the highest peaks in New Mexico at over 10,000 feet of altitude, this comfy condo will have you sleeping and dining in comfort while enjoying one of the most beautiful natural places in the world. From the condo you can walk to TSV Lift 4, the Bavarian and the popular Williams Lake and Wheeler Peak trailheads in 5 minutes or less.  Compact but functional, one bedroom one bath, full kitchen with livingroom, TV and pull out couch for extra guests. Sleeps 4. Parking for one car in front of condo, space for additional cars in undesignated area of parking lot. 4WD or AWD necessary to access TSV, and Twining Road in winter.   You’ll have the whole home to yourself with exception of any locked or labeled owner spaces which are not represented in the listing/images. We value our guests privacy but we are available if needed. Taos and Northern New Mexico are beautiful and also remote. Please research the area when trip planning to understand the potential for occasional power, water and internet outages, longer than average timetables on services and repairs, and limitations during certain parts of the year on restaurant operation in Taos Ski Valley. We offer no real big box or major brand stores. Kroger Smith’s Grocery, Albertson’s Grocery, Domino’s, McDonald’s, a small Walmart and Tractor Supply are our National Chain stores. A touch of self-sufficiency and respectful curiosity is very much recommended and rewarded here. The rural, remote vibe of this historic Rocky mountain community is what attracts people to visit in all seasons. Its pristine wildernesses and protected lands, its mix of agrarian cultural traditions, Pueblo and Hispanic and Anglo, and striking topography and geology with high mountains and deep gorges, vast expanses of mesa land and volcanic mounds, is a feast for the eyes. We have beautiful local arts and cultural opportunities from retail to special events reflecting the visual beauty of the land and the cultures of the valley. Due to deep connection with culture and the land that grows our food, Taos boasts many excellent locally owned restaurants. Here again adventuresome choices are rewarded with new and incredible experiences. We invite you to immerse in Taos' uniqueness. To truly explore the Taos area, it is important to have a vehicle. If visiting in the winter, it is certainly ideal to have all-wheel or 4W Drive. Many properties may become inaccessible during winter storms without proper vehicle with snow tires and AWD/4WD capabilities. Please plan accordingly. Hosts are not responsible for guests who cannot access a property. Check in 4pm. Check out 11am.
