The warmth and elegance of this luxurious hill country holiday bungalow filled with antique furniture is yours to relax and unwind while enjoying spectacular views of Fox Hill and surrounding pine forests. Centrally located just 350m away from Diyatalawa Railway Station, 150m away from main bus road and 1km away from Diyatalawa town, it provides easy access to Ella, Haputale, Nuwara Eliya and World’s End. The space Both bedrooms in the upper floor have en suite bathrooms and private balconies with a very nice mountain view. There is a common living area also with a balcony in the upper floor. Double room in the ground floor has a garden view from the window. Our 40 perch (1,012m2) landscaped garden has fruit trees, flowers, sun loungers and garden chairs. Guests can cook their own food in the kitchen or the caretakers can cook delicious Sri Lankan food for them if guests buy or pay for provisions that are needed. Guests are welcome to use many varieties of fresh vegetables from our organic vegetable plot. Room #2 has one double bed, antique dressing table with drawers, wardrobe, towel rack and chair. Located in the ground floor, it also has an en suite bathroom. Floor area is 12m2. Guest access Guests have access to TV, kitchen, living area and dining area in the ground floor, and living area and main balcony in the upper floor. They also have access to the landscaped garden. During your stay Owner of the bungalow, a retired engineer/academic, will be available at the bungalow on most days. He can be contacted over the telephone any time, even when he is not available in the bungalow. The property is served by in-house, full-time caretakers. Other things to note Electric room heaters can be provided on request at an extra cost. Electric iron, Electric kettle and hair dryer can be provided on request. Guests can also use the washing machine. Black tea can be provided any time.
