We have 3x a 2-person forest cottage & 1x a 3-person forest cottage Facilities Boshuisje - Private terrace - 2 single beds with lovely warm blankets and woolen jugs - Heat pillows from the Stoov brand - Small electric stove - Dishes - Kettle - 2 armchairs and a table - 1 common fire pit (you share this with the other 3 houses). It's not possible to use an extra fire bowl. We call our forest cottages, "forest cottages" because they are furnished in this way and are among the trees (not in a forest). Wilderness Spa with hot tub and sauna Do you want an extra cool experience? Then book an afternoon or evening in our Scandinavian hottub. We also have a sauna that you can book separately. Swimming lake and the river Berkel There is a swimming lake opposite the grounds of Oetdoor and recreational lake Hambroek is also within walking distance. The river Berkel is 200 meters from our campsite. You can enjoy canoeing and souping here. Cooking on wood fire At Oetdoor, everything is about being there. Nice outdoors and a campfire is also part of it. A fire bowl is by the cottage and you can buy wood (of course you can also bring your own dry wood, because with us it is also not endless). In our cupboard in the shared kitchen, you will find cast-iron pans so that you can prepare delicious back-to-basic meals above the campfire. We have put together a great recipe book for you that will be ready in the kitchen upon arrival. In dry periods it is forbidden to make a fire. It is not permitted to put your own or separate fire bowl in front of the forest cottages due to the many wood chips and the wooden cottages. You share the common fire pit with the other 3 cottages. Shared fire pit From the end of April, there is a shared covered fire pit centrally on site. This may be used by everyone from the campsite, as long as it is not used by us at events. Due to the arrival of this place, guests can share a fire pit together. Facilities View all facilities on the campsite and in the surrounding area. The use of the canoes, sup's and bikes is included. You can also rent 2 mountain bikes with us for a fee. The shared living room is full of cool (outdoor) games and reading books, including of course the Scandinavian Kubb. Dogs Friends for our camp dog Jimmy are more than welcome! However, there is an obligation to clean up and clean up. We charge €5,- per dog per night (max. 2 dogs) Bread service During the school holidays and weekends, it is possible to order sandwiches on the weekends on arrival (until 5 p.m.). Sanitary facilities The shower and toilet facilities are in the shared service building next to reception. This is included in the price. Silence between 23:00 and 08:00 A campfire should have a drink, but there are more people on the campsite. You can still put a block on the fire, but at 23:00 it must be quiet.  Winter camping From December 1 to January 28, we have a winter campsite. The forest cottages are then heated with a small electric stove, but it will not reach a room temperature. The warm wool blankets, electric stoov pillows, and wool jugs make sure you won't be cold at night. It will continue to be winter camping;) Arrival: after 3 p.m. Departure: before 10:00 am
