Eclectically curated to create a memorable home stay. A huge handcrafted farm table is great for large dinners, working from home, or family game nights in. We have ultra fast Verizon Fios wifi, and a FireStick that gives you access to login to all your streaming services. Though the home does not have central AC, there is a window AC unit installed in the front room. Both bedrooms include an extension cord for your charging needs, as well as an oscillating fan. This unit is located on the first floor of a duplex. As this is an old Buffalo home, do expect to hear movement from the unit above from time to time. One parking space is available in the driveway to overnighters. Street parking is available, with a couple hours during the day to be removed for street cleaning. A fresh door code will be provided for the duration of your stay. We love our city, so we are more than happy to share suggestions for the area. Just ask! A 5 minute drive to Hertel Avenue, brings you to a strip of walkable bars, restaurants and shops. The North Park Theatre, a nearly century-old moviehouse, newly restored and its neon glittering once again, serves as the street’s focal point, surrounded by a supporting cast of hip newcomers like Mes Que, Spot Coffee, Little Club Wine Bar, and Lloyd’s Taco. Kenmore Ave itself you can only park on for certain times of the day, which is why we offer one parking space to our guests. However, when you are out and about town, you can typically find free or metered parking on the main streets of Buffalo. (Elmwood and Hertel Ave are metered, but also have free parking along the adjoining neighborhood streets. Ease of finding one depends on the time of year and day of the week, but it's not terrible). This is an easy city to Uber in at night, but have had difficulty with Ubers canceling our pre-booked rides at the last minute for early trips to the airport. As of August 2022, we have updated both bedframes. We are typically pretty flexible with early check-in if needed. Just send us a message and we will confirm if it will work for your stay :)
