Cala na Sithe is a high end self contained unit ideal for couples This recently renovated property is high quality accommodation with vaulted ceilings and a luxurious king size ‘box bed’ modeled on traditional highland designs There is underfloor heating throughout and a wood burning stove to keep you cosy whatever the weather The kitchen and the shower room are finished to a high specification Nearby is a sheltered bay with beach which offers swimming opportunities (bring your wet suit!) The space Cala na Sithe (' Haven of the Fairies ') is the perfect base for a couple to explore the beautiful Strathaird Peninsula on the Isle of Skye. There are lots of interesting places to visit. Locally, there is a huge range of walking from low level beach walks to beautiful hill tops. The ‘Strath’ has free grazing of Highland cows with the herd occasionally stopping traffic as they cross the road. The well known tourist spots of Skye (the Quiraing, the Fairy pools, Neist Point and the Kilt Rock) are all accessible via the A87 from Broadford. Longer stays (2 weeks, 3 weeks, 1 month) are welcome. Guest access 'Cala na Sithe' is a detached unit on our property with ample off-road parking. You can drive right up to the entrance door to unload your luggage. You will have your own key and be able to use the complete building for your holiday. We have accommodation on site but in a separate building. You are encouraged to make use of the large garden and have exclusive use of the patio and table seating. Other things to note Towels provided This house has an ecological waste system and guests are asked not to put eco-unfriendly items down the toilet. To avoid problems for yourself and future guests please put the following in the bin: Feminine hygiene products Toilet wipes Dental floss Tissues Gum Paper towels Please note that there is no EV charger and charging an electric car is not included in the nightly price.
