Paradise Point, Cosy Cottage with fireplace

Paradise Point is a cosy 3 bedroom cottage set back on a large half acre block with towering eucalypts and an array of birdlife in the heart of Ebor Village. The cottage is centrally located with the Ebor Falls Hotel 150 metres down the road to the south, Fusspots café across the road, the service station/general store is 450 metres north and the Ebor Falls Tackle and Outfitters across the road from the service station for your fishing, hiking and outdoor gear and apparel. The space Freshly renovated with modern facilities and luxuries while still maintaining a mountain cottage feel. A perfect sanctuary to relax and rejuvenate and just get away from it all, or as a base for bushwalking, fishing, riding, wildlife spotting or swimming in the freshwater streams. Only a leisurely stroll from your cottage you’ll find yourself surrounded by nature, possibly witness a family of kangaroos with the sound of a trickling Guy Fawkes River leading you to the majestic waterfalls of Ebor. At the end of the day return for a cup of tea on the deck or layback with a glass of wine on the Kloudsac by the fire. The main room has a Queen bed, the second room has two long single beds which can be converted to a King Bed at your request, the study has a luxury queen sofa bed or can be left as your private study. The queen bed in the main bedroom has a “Tempur” mattress. Designed using NASA technology and made in Denmark. The foam is designed to respond to your body heat and weight. It will feel firm at first but very quickly conforms to your body shape giving you a great night’s sleep, also great for back issues Guest access Guests will have exclusive use of the entire property. Other things to note Paradise Point is at an elevation of 1306 metres and Ebor Village/town is the 6th highest town in NSW behind Guyra and Thredbo. A truly Alpine experience with frosts in the winter, fresh mountain air and if your lucky occasional snow. The region (the most northerly place to catch a trout in NSW) offers some excellent rainbow and brown trout fishing both in natural mountain streams and stocked dams. The Guy Fawkes River which meanders through Ebor, 200 metres South of our cottage is a reliable brown trout and rainbow fishery with trout up to 2.5 kilos. The Dutton Trout Hatchery (12 minutes drive from Ebor) sells some amazing local smoked trout , you can also learn everything there is to know about the life cycle of trout . They also stock local streams and river ways with astounding success, definitely worth a visit. You are also surrounded by pristine national parks and some of the best waterfalls in NSW.
