Beautiful rural farm next to Pomona Lake 2 bedroom

Enjoy time in the country in this two bedroom private home next to Pomona Lake. Located 1/2 mile from the 110 mile creek boat ramp and several hiking trails. Spend time relaxing by the fire pit and watching the donkeys and chickens on the property. Pomona Lake offers many recreational activities including a state park, marina and swimming beach. Great place to get away from the city! The space The living and kitchen area are an open floor plan. There are two bedrooms; one has a queen bed and the other has two queen beds. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Pots, pans, and extra supplies are found in the buffet and stove drawer. Basic spices are provided. The property has an outdoor grill and fire pit. Guests are welcome to both! Consider bringing your food and drink items with you. The closest grocery store is in Carbondale which is a 20 minute drive. Overbrook, a 15 minute drive, has a Dollar General and liquor store. After booking, guests will receive recommendations on local restaurants. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home. The property has chickens, donkeys, and a dog that need daily care from the owners. However, little to no interaction will occur with owners unless desired. Other things to note Guests will travel gravel road to get to home. The property has excellent Starlink internet. In Kansas, rural areas vary in cell service availability. T-Mobile rarely works in this area. Verizon and AT&T work in some areas. The home has WiFi which is how most people communicate. Boat owners are welcome. There is space on the property to park your boat and trailer; the lake boat ramp is 1/2 mile away. Horse owners are welcome. There is a fenced in area of 2 acres with a watering trough. Horse trails are 1/2 mile from the property. Fishermen are welcome. Pomona Lake has many public recreational areas. The property has a fish cleaning station. While we love pets, they are not allowed. The risk of a small pet getting trampled by a donkey and a large pet hurting our chickens is too great to accommodate.
