"RRR" Cowboy Lodge Chihuahuan Desert Ranch Stay

Cholla Ranch Camp, where horses still roam free, is a small section of an 1100 acre working ranch dedicated to hosting guests. Located in the breathtaking Chihuahuan Desert but just minutes from the small West Texas town of Alpine. The RRR has great views of Twin Peak Mountains during the day and wonderful stargazing at night. The RRR is furnished with MCM pieces of walnut and rich textures. Well appointed interior will allow you to relax into the evening while still being connected to nature. The space “RRR” is (Newly Remodeled) like the stepping back into a midcentury lodge with rich wood walls, walnut tone furnishings, velvet bedding and grand styled beds. We made every effort to provide great amenities while still keeping you close to nature. Organic Santee sheets, velvet quilts and Organic Comforters are just the beginning. Individualized toiletries, sleep well kits, robes and slippers all help make your stay more relaxing. A fireplace style gas heater, during the winter months keeps you toasty warm. A Mini-split AC, during the summer for those that perfer to stay in. Beds are always equipped with electric heating pads, a soothing treat after a long day hiking. A fan is also available upon request. Freshly ground, locally roasted, organic coffee and an array of hot beverages choices are always close at hand. There are plenty of plug ins for your devices, lighting both inside and on the deck. Outdoor family sized grill, portable stove, sink and prep space. Enjoy the sunset from your outdoor lounge area or dinner on your private deck. Play a game of cornhole at your space or enjoy the commual horseshoe pits then stargaze into the late evening with the provided telecope . All available at your fingertips. Full indoor plumbing means not going outside for a hot shower, to use the restroom or brush your teeth. Glamping does not mean roughing it!! Please remember you are in the desert so drink plenty of water and expect some dust to present. (For parties of 5 a twin size air mattress is available upon request- electric inflate and deflate makes this mattress a breeze. Same Great linens... Perfect for children not suitable for adults.)
