Our spacious and elegant home in Kampala City boasts absolute comfort and privacy for families and groups. You’ll enjoy its chic African touch, 24/7 fast Wi-Fi, King/Queen beds, fully-stocked kitchen, free linens, and a children's play area. Our balconies are oases of relaxation and are a guest favourite. The space The Mbuya residence has a total floor plan of 362 square metres (3897 square feet). It offers 6 beautifully-designed bedrooms with 3 complete bathrooms disposed on the 2 floors. Each bathroom has enough hot water and free bathing soap. The newest feature is our natural front yard which is both relaxing and gorgeous. The residence has 2 beautiful balconies. The largest is a cosy chillout space that is accessible to all guests with beautiful furniture, natural plants and a beautiful view of Mbuya Valley. The second is private and only accessible to the master bedroom guests and is set up for intimate experiences. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the exquisite sunrises and sunsets! Big on entertainment? Our residence has a gorgeous living room, reliably fast Wi-Fi, 2 Smart TVs, board games, and leisure-reading books. NOTE: To watch DStv, you have two options. The FIRST option is to pay for your desired DStv package on the accommodation's DStv decoder (details in the guidebook). The second is if you have your own DStv subscription, you can log into any of the smart TV browsers. Sure, eating at the finest restaurants can be fun. But sometimes we all need a home-cooked meal, right? That's why our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you’ll need to cook and bake for yourself/family/group. Our 7kg front-load washing machine ensures you don't have to leave with dirty laundry. Also provided are laundry baskets, clothes pegs, clotheslines, and an iron press. Looking to work from home? Our accommodation has a contemporary workspace with access to our reliably fast wifi and a desk lamp. Guest access You are free to utilize all the different relaxing, reading, shared, and private areas to meet the many general/specific needs of your family/group. NOTE: Only one family/group can book the residence at a time. This means no guests outside your group can stay at the accommodation at the same time as you. For entertainment access, please bring all your passwords (DSTV, Netflix, PrimeVideo, Hulu, ...). A fast and reliable internet connection is guaranteed! Other things to note We offer a delicious continental/Ugandan breakfast that is accessible upon request at $8 (UGX 30,000) & $4 (UGX 15,000) for adults and children, respectively. Please let us know at least 2 days before your check-in date (I've attached the breakfast menu below). Lunch and dinner are available at $12 (UGX 45,000) We also have an airport shuttle service with 2 capacities (prices are for a one-way trip): 1. The first vehicle can carry a maximum of 9 adults for $70 (UGX 250,000) 2. The second vehicle has a capacity of 4 adults for $45 (UGX 150,000) With your comfort at heart, we have installed a power storage system that ensures you always have electricity, especially when the national grid is occasionally turned off (once or twice a month, for an average of 4 - 6 hours). While the home can host a maximum of 12 people, we think the perfect group size is 8 – 10. We are happy to host all 12 but remember that it will be less cosy. _______________________________________________________________ MBUYA RESIDENCE DELUXE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST The Mbuya Residence provides a healthy, sumptuous, internationally-recognised, yet tasty breakfast that promises to pamper your taste buds. The breakfast items included are indicated below: 1. Beverages (Choice of one per guest) • Tea (Spiced or non-spiced) Served either as black or white/African style (prepared with fresh milk) • Coffee (Richly-brewed Ugandan coffee) Served either as black or white/African style (prepared with fresh milk) 2. Eggs (Choice of one cooking style per guest) • Fried • Boiled • Omelette • Scrambled Prepared with farm-fresh eggs and vegetables (where applicable). 3. A pair of sausages (Choice of one meat option per guest) • Chicken or Beef A combination of both can be prepared to cater to the different preferences of individuals in a group of guests. 4. Fresh fruit juice (Choice of any three per serving) • Passion fruit • Watermelon • Mango • Pineapple All these juices are made from fresh organic farm fruits. 5. Fresh fruit (Two of these seasonally-available fruits are provided interchangeably per serving) • Apples • Pears • Bananas • Delicious oranges • Grapes All provided fruits are organically produced from local farms. 6.
