* Ideal for Families * Large Edwardian home in leafy Furzedown (Tooting) with a wide range of bars, restaurants, cafes & shops within a 5min walk. Excellent transport links to explore central London (17mins to Oxford Circus, 25mins to Leicester Sq, 26mins to the South Bank). We recently completed a full ground floor renovation, with large kitchen flowing through to garden, providing a spacious and relaxing base for you to explore London. Restrictions: No parties/smoking/vaping/pets The space Enter through the original stain glass door to the ground floor hallway; here there is a light and airy sitting room with 46" TV. Our recently renovated ground floor provides the perfect dining & relaxing space, especially in the warmer months when the bi-fold doors can be opened up to connect the extended kitchen & garden spaces. The kitchen has all the mod cons you would expect, a large dining table to accommodate 10 plus a state of the art coffee machine and Kitchen Aid for the discerning foodie! We have 5 bedrooms, of which 4 are accessible to guests during their stay: 1 - Master Bedroom: Luxury Super King size bed with TV. 2 - Bedroom #2: King size bed with mini-fridge 3 - Bedroom #3: Harry Potter themed single trundle bed = 2 single beds 4 - Bedroom #4: Cabin bed (suitable only for a child) The 5th bedroom is currently a home office space & will not be accessible to guests during their stay. We have 3 bathrooms in total - 2nd floor (shower), 1st floor (shower & bath) & ground floor (WC for convenient access). Master bedroom, living room & kitchen all have large TVs with on-demand access to 70,000+ movies (e.g. Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, Disney+, etc.), 12,000+ TV shows and 20,000+ live TV channels from almost every country of the world (incl. France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands) including a variety of sports channels (incl. Sky Sports, BT etc.) Child-friendly: Toys and books galore - we welcome you to enjoy an array of boad games, and boxes of childrens' toys -mounds of Lego, Duplo, Barbies, Super Hero action figues, Imaginex, dolls houses and a few child-friendly instruments. **FAO Young Families** - we have a pop-up BabyBjorn cot available for free on-request. Guest access Guests have use of the full house, with the exception of the 5th bedroom (currently a home office space). On street parking on our street is free 24/7. Free parking is also available on many nearby streets from Friday evening to early Monday morning. Also, there is a popular local playground within a 5 min walk (incl. slides, swings, climbing walls, football/basketball area, tennis courts, picnic area) with coffee shops / cafes on nearby Moyser road. Other things to note We make extensive use of Tooting & Central London (...as a couple & as a family) and are happy to answer any travel questions you may have about London and our area, feel free to ask! Our home is an 8min walk (or 4min bus, if you're in a rush) to a choice of either the tube station, Tooting Broadway, on the Northern Line or Tooting Rail Station (Overland - London Thameslink line). Both bring you to a broad range of central London tourist sites within 17-25 mins. Wimbledon can be reached within 5 minutes via Overland train or a short drive. Equally Earlsfield and Balham, 2 more popular areas to explore within a few minutes by bus, offer further train connections, notably Hampton Court (24 minutes) and Clapham Junction (3 minutes). During the summer months, there is a free mini splash park (Tamworth Recreation Ground) which is ideal for younger kids to cool down when the temperatures rise - not forgetting the famous Tooting Lido just around the corner.
