Located on a wooded plot of more than 4 hectares, our house in the Domaine du Portage du Cap, in Havre-Aubert, will give you a country stay a few minutes' walk from the beach of Cap. We fell in love with this traditional, century-old house of the Acadian houses of the islands and renovated it with love. Those who know it describe it as: charming, cute, warm, peaceful, welcoming, comforting, adorable, green. How can you resist? The space Upon entering, you will be charmed by its picturesque character, its seaside decor and its great brightness thanks to the new veranda where it's nice to relax. With its two bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen-size bed, and a bedroom on the ground floor with a single bed, the house is perfect for two couples, or a small family. The spacious bathroom with marine accents includes a bathtub and a separate shower. Everything has been designed to make your stay pleasant, comfortable and relaxing. Guest access You have access to the estate with its picturesque and typical main house of the islands. Right next door, we have furnished a cozy room in an outbuilding that is very popular in summer. Other things to note Our coniferous forest protects us from the offshore winds. In the mornings, we love to have coffee while enjoying a nice sea view on the horizon. On the estate there are several outbuildings. As the grounds are large, several spaces have been created to read, take a nap or have an aperitif with friends. Feeling of freedom guaranteed. We are very well located: close to La Grave where its shops and restaurants await you; the famous Sandy Hook dune and its kilometers of white sand. We love to picnic at Bout du Banc beach with its stunning view of Île d'Entrée. A 5-minute drive away, you can do some shopping at Jalco, which also has a SAQ counter. Just opposite, a small visit to the Les Biquettes à l'air cheese dairy is a must and will make you want to stock up on fresh cheeses and other local products.
