Welcome to Mainstreet Retreat, this two bedroom bungalow is nestled a few blocks from the town square of Ironton. There are several shops and restaurants in close proximity, the home features a covered front porch to enjoy mountain views, the bathroom has recently been updated! This home has a patio in the back, with a stainless steel firepit, off street parking, the property is only a short drive away from several of the state parks around the area, Elephant Rocks being about 5 minutes away! The space Mudroom The property is entered through the back door using a smart lock, upon entering you'll enter the mudroom! Featuring a washer and dryer, an extra stowaway bed, and a chest that houses extra blankets and linens, this room has a lot of windows. The mudroom has a timer controlled light that will stay on during the evening through earlier morning hours. Kitchen Once through the mudroom, you’ll find yourself in the kitchen, featuring medium oak cabinetry and all the basic appliances. It’s a simple, well-equipped space with the essentials needed to prepare a comfortable meal — easy, functional, and just right for settling in. Dining Room Upon entering the dining room, you're greeted by a generous 6-seat table and a thoughtful corner space — just enough room for a desk and chair, making remote work here both practical and peaceful! Living Room Bathed in natural light on sunny days, the living room is the perfect place to unwind. A 60-inch corner-mounted flat screen sets the scene, paired with a leather sectional and recliner that invite you to sink in after a day on the trails. And when it’s time to wind down, room-darkening shades let you turn off the world and relax in comfort. Bathroom The bathroom’s had a recent refresh with new flooring, updated faucets, and fresh colors—while keeping the original bathtub for a touch of charm. A new vanity offers plenty of storage, and the backlit LED mirror adds both glow and function. Bedroom 1 Upon entering Bedroom 1, you’re welcomed by charming double barn doors and soft natural light streaming through two large corner windows — complete with room-darkening shades for added comfort. The room features both a queen and a twin bed, offering flexibility for guests. It’s a simple, restful space, with a luggage rack and full-length mirror conveniently tucked inside the closet. Bedroom 2 Entering the second bedroom, located at the rear of the home, features one queen bed, a large window with room-darkening shades, a closet with hanging space and a full-length mirror, and a luggage rack. Front Patio Enjoy peaceful mornings and quiet evenings on the front patio, with open views of the mountains and a relaxing spot to sip your coffee or unwind. Back Porch The private back porch offers a convenient outdoor retreat, complete with a Solo Stove for cozy nights and a quiet space to relax or recharge. Guest access Guests will be given detailed instructions related to check-in procedure 24 hours prior to booking date, outlining the access code to the smart lock. Also all details relating to arriving to the home will be listed in the arrival guide, also within the arrival guide will be the Wi-Fi password and other details relating to the space.
