Welcome to our cosy and colourful Amsterdam home right in the centre of the city. Our humble abode has plenty to offer to lounge, chill and cook if you want to stay inside, and it’s perfectly located to explore the city and enjoy the canals and lively neighbourhoods. Our beautiful apartment is on the third floor (no elevator) in a residential street of a surprisingly peaceful and absolutely stunning neighbourhood known as the Jewish quarter. The space Our warm and quaint living spaces are lush with plants, a library full of books (Dutch, English), board games and bluetooth-accessible hi-fi stereo sounds, all of which guarantees to make you feel right at home! We offer a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a proper meal or make yourself a romantic breakfast: coffee machine, milk frother, proper sharp knives (a kitchen without good knives isn’t a kitchen, we feel), good pans, immersion blender, an array of spices and oils, you name it, and of course a dish washer to clean up your mess - it’s all there! Our kitchen table is long enough to suit 8 people, or to sit quietly on both ends of the table playing king and queen without any royal need for conversation. Be warned, we have a very comfy queen size bed (160 x 200 cm) which you may never want to leave. A bathroom with rain shower, washer and dryer, and a separate toilet. Another living room with a big HD television with Netflix and a comfy sofa. A balcony with a table, chairs, plants and atmospheric lights. Guest access You'll have the whole apartment to yourselves. Other things to note This is our home, it's quiet and characterful. It's not a typical holiday home devoid of life: our house is sprawling with the artefacts and traces of our life. We'll make sure there'll be dedicated space for your things, but we also want you to know that our cupboards and closets aren't empty. We would love to have you, and would love for you to feel at home here like we do, but we do ask you to be respectful of the space and be mindful of our kind neighbours.
