The space The cottage offers spacious, cozy, and comfortable living areas where everyone feels at home — even with 6 guests. We provide all the essentials for little ones: a travel cot, high chair, baby bathtub, child-friendly dishes, and potty. Please let us know in advance if you’ll need this equipment. It is important to respect the booking deadlines, as the SPA requires two people to prepare it, is emptied and cleaned after each use, and needs 24 hours to reach the perfect temperature for your arrival! For guests booking for two weeks or more, we also change the water every 5 days. We also offer a meal service (see photos). This must also be booked at least 72 hours before your arrival, as we source locally and live in the mountains, which requires a bit of planning on our side. Finally, We share the property with our two friendly dogs, used to guests of all ages. You may meet them outside for a quick hello 🐾 Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire cottage, which includes: Two spacious bedrooms upstairs: One bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm) One bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and two single bunk beds One bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet A fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room with a wood-burning stove for a cozy mountain atmosphere. 🪵 Firewood is provided upon arrival, in sufficient quantity for the duration of your stay. Other things to note We also offer a few à la carte services to make your stay even more enjoyable: raclette, fondue, Mont d’Or, and even breakfast (upon reservation). Feel free to ask us for more information about rates and availability — you’ll find a preview in the photos of the listing. Requests must be made 72 hours before your arrival at the gîte. Located in the Ain region, the Plans d’Hotonnes enjoy a beautiful natural setting. The surrounding area offers plenty of activities for all ages and seasons: cycling and hiking trails, local wine cellars and producers, restaurants, lakes for paddleboarding or canoeing, tree-top adventure parks, museums, leisure parks, alpine and cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sledding, and farm visits. Whether you’re here to relax or explore, you’ll never run out of things to do! ⛰️ You are staying here in the mountains, at an altitude of 1,100 meters, in a former 18th-century farmhouse. The charm of an old property comes with many advantages… and a few unique features 😊 The gîte is heated by a pellet boiler as well as a wood stove, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere around the fire. This is not modern underfloor heating: temperatures remain comfortable but may differ from those in newer, highly heated homes. We recommend bringing a warm sweater or cozy socks so you can fully enjoy the mountain cocoon ❄️🧦 Coming to the mountains also requires a bit of planning, especially for groceries. Shops are not located in the immediate vicinity of the gîte, so it’s best to plan ahead if you prefer not to travel during your stay, particularly depending on your arrival time. Life here moves at a different pace than in the city: simpler, quieter, and closer to nature… which is exactly what gives this place its charm and serenity 🌿 Registration Details 011870066431
