Le Bastidon, ground floor

Come and recharge your batteries, in peace, in our old stone bastide built in 1905. We offer a newly renovated 52 m2 2-bedroom apartment. The bastide is located at the foot of the Sainte Baume hills, in the heart of a 1 hectare plot. The space The 50 m2 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom, renovated in October 2022, includes: - 1 living room with fully equipped open kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, ceramic hob, and all necessary dishes). NO TV. NO WIFI. - 1 table with chairs, including 1 baby high chair and 1 junior high chair - 1 master bedroom with a double bed 140 cm wide - 1 children's bedroom with a single bed 80 cm wide that can be expanded into a double bed 160 cm wide (folding bed also available on request). Possibility also to make 2 single beds of 80 cm, separated. Possibility to add a child bed barrier. - 1 bathroom with bathtub - 1 separate bathroom Linens are provided as well as towels and kitchen towels. Pool towels are not provided. No central air conditioning but 3 of the walls are against the ground or the garage, which keeps the apartment cool in summer. Plus, we've just added a portable air conditioner in the living room that's in the center of the apartment. The property is conveniently located for a vacation in the South of France since you will be in a central position for your visits: - 13 minutes from Aubagne - 25 minutes to the beach - 30 minutes to Marseille - 30 minutes from Aix-en-Provence If you are not driving, a bus passes every hour in the village (8-minute walk) and takes you to Aubagne bus station/SNCF or towards Aix-en-Provence. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the bastide, the owners live upstairs. The configuration allows everyone to maintain their privacy since we use the east-facing garden, while you will enjoy the west-facing garden. In your garden, you will have a table and chairs (including 1 baby high chair and 1 junior high chair) to eat outside, as well as a parasol and a barbecue (equipment provided except charcoal). Small games for children are also available privately on your plot. You will have access to our swimming pool shared with our family and sometimes some passing campers. Please note that the pool is unheated, so it is not accessible all year round. It is open approximately from mid-May to mid-September, sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on the outside temperatures. This year, exceptionally, it will not be in water during the month of April because we are repainting it completely. You'll also have access to the entire estate for a walk. Your children can play on the common playground (giant trampoline 5 meters in diameter, swing frame, knotted rope, rings, trapeze). You can also meet our 2 residents: Anne-Marie and Pomponette. These are 2 Sethland ponies that we have gathered to spend a peaceful retirement in the countryside. 2 Saturday mornings per month, on sunny days, we host yoga classes in which you can participate for free (2 people maximum).
