Welcome to "Nana's Place". This special home is close to everything making it easy to plan your visit. Just blocks from Christiansburg’s Uptown business district, the living room offers a tremendous view of the hills surrounding the businesses of the New River Valley. With only a 10-minute drive to Lane Stadium and the campus of Virginia Tech and 20 minute drive to Radford University, guests will appreciate the proximity to the many attractions of the valley. The space Upon entering, you will feel the love, warmth, and nostalgia of years spent visiting Nana. Vintage furniture is found in every room as guests make themselves comfortable for time away with family and friends. You can almost smell the aroma of rose-scented perfume as you get settled in. There is plenty of seating for your group to soak in the view or enjoy a game or movie on a large flat-screen Roku TV. Around the room, treasures from your childhood await with a record player, candy jars and classic furniture. The spacious living room is the centerpiece of the home, but not the only gem to be found. Down the hall to the bedrooms, guests will experience the familiar character that made childhood visits so special. Two wonderfully decorated bedrooms offer peace and rest that only a child could find in the safety of Nana's home. The newly updated, but vintage kitchen boasts a retro stove, throwback appliances, and plenty of space to prepare a great meal. We know you will enjoy this new, but oh-so-familiar space. As Nana always said, "Everyone is welcome; come on in!" Guest access Guests enter the rental through the side patio door and have access to a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen and bath. Other things to note The house sits at the front of a commercial property (storage units). Guests will notice very mild activity on the property at different times of the day. Guests will occupy the back portion of the house. The front is currently vacant office space that is not accessible by guests. The adjacent above-garage apartment is also a short-term rental, but indoor spaces are not shared in any way. The house is kid-friendly but not child proof. Please use discretion when booking and staying with us. It is not handicap accessible. Please note: We reserve the right to adjust prices for Virginia Tech football game weekends for up to 24 hours after the game day is announced.
