In our guesthouse, you will enjoy a rustic space next to a mangrove, meet birds, marmosets, crabs, crabs and other animals, beautiful trees and plants in direct contact with nature. Enjoy a decorated, cozy and private suite. You will have access to an exclusive living room and refrigerator. Relax in a bathroom with a good shower and rest in a comfortable double bed. Guest access Coming from Mosqueiro At the Caueira - Itaporanga interchange, head towards Itaporanga. After Povoado Paruí, there is a large Itaipava beer sign. Right after the climb, there are eucalyptus trees. Enter on the right. Follow the dirt road, following the signs “Cantinho da Paz” and “Recanto da Paz”. Go straight to Povoado Caibros, then go to Porto dos Caibros where you will board to the island. Coming from Itaporanga D'Ajuda Head towards Povoado Caueira. After Povoado Água Boa, after the ascent, you will see the eucalyptus trees on the left side and on the right the sign indicating Ilha Men de Sá. Turn left onto the dirt road. Follow the dirt road, following the signs “Cantinho da Paz” and “Recanto da Paz”. Go straight to Povoado Caibros, then go to Porto dos Caibros where you will board for the island. Access to the island is only by water transport for approx. 10 min. The public parking lot is located in Porto dos Caibros, the access point for the water transport that will take the guest to the island in a safe, fast and quiet crossing. Water transportation is not included in the daily rates. The island can be toured through outdoor walks in direct contact with the local community. No cars are allowed. It is possible to hire natives for boat trips on the Vaza-Barris River to fish, get to know the island and swim. Other things to note A delicious breakfast is included in the daily rate. We also offer other meals on the menu. If you want to cook, you can buy seafood from the fishermen, but you have to bring the other food because there are no full markets on the island. Because it is a place immersed in nature, it is possible to encounter wild animals, insects and toads. Chickens help control insects, but they can eventually be found in the house. We love and respect nature, and we kindly ask our guests to respect it as well. We are Pet Friendly and accept pets. Reservations must be made in advance.
